QUOTE(Henry217 @ Feb 4 2014, 11:13 AM) are you able to reproduce it and do a small video record? As for my case I do hear some sound after changing adjustable absorber and at first I thought its the height issue causing tire to hit bodykit, but I've adjusted it high enough now and there's still sound whenever I make a turn on a ground which is slunted.. Have not inspect it with my eyes yet, but I'll soon get a friend to turn my steering while I observe from outside.. Mine also have the sounds , dont know whats the prb |

QUOTE(voscar @ Feb 17 2015, 06:34 PM) last time i've seen some one posted on lowyat f&f there are shops that will just replace lower arm rubber bush without replacing the whole costly lower arm, maybe you try the search feature, i think dec-jan 2015 period... Thanks man!! Will try to search it out. I went 10 workshop all tell me to change only. I believe there's honest and kind workshop will do repair. |

QUOTE(RoxyMunky @ Feb 17 2015, 07:30 PM) There are 2 options for lower arm bushing repair: Hi bro, mine lead me ? I've read your focus stories fromthe bbeginning of the page. Change both of it cost me a boom. Your boost repaired , is it durable ?1. Change the whole lower arm which had new bushing 2. Use back current lower arm, but replace a new bush into it. Option is around 40% cheaper. I just did for my Focus. Most shop they don't provide this bushing pump service.. Majority send it to Jln Ipoh to replace the bush, then reinstall back at workshop. It cost me around rm900. Vios should be cheaper. There's this workshop in Taman LenSeng provide such service. I can refer u, of course no middle man fee involved. |

QUOTE(RoxyMunky @ Feb 18 2015, 02:47 AM) Some said changing bush might not give u the best result as the fittings might be off. Hi bro second gen here. Do let me know ya. Mine I guess both side Just started spoil as rarely heard the sound but once I changed tyres, my friend told me bothsside spoiled . I even saw it moved from the belowSome said its better to pertain the stock lower arm. Buying OEM also pre-fitting the bush into it, hence i go for bushing replacement. I just did is few weeks back, no ngok ngok noise upon passing bumps. So far so good. In terms of durability, Theres option of fitting different type of bush, I opt for original, hence the higher price. Urs is first Generation Vios? Let me try ask for u. It's CNY, might be no answer but I'll try. This post has been edited by 1NEFZ: Feb 19 2015, 10:48 PM |
