Yes, mine is J but no such issue. Yesterday just took my car to SC checking due to my brake no function a few second during uneven road with speed 50kmj. Report came out ABS ok and the brake functioning well.  hmm.gif

Anyone had this experience before?
*
This few seconds if drive at highway can caused fatal accident. Normal computerized check hard to determine the issue.

no down hill, just a normal uneven road which sometime i pass by. Not feeling engine breaking, just felt like when pushing the brake pedal it sounds "krok krok" few second then the brake back to normal. Weird. hmm.gif

I bought RM180 from spare part shop. The owner's told me some other place selling cheaper by using local parts with the sticker written made from Thailand. Please be careful when you purchase Toyota parts.

This price is reasonable for major service under Toyota care. Honda City can easily cost RM1,300 with the same service done.

my current Ford, 95k service:
1. Engine oil + filter
2. Skim disc rotor
3. Spark plugs --> RM300

Total cost me RM600 liao... sweat.gif

So for Toyota, major service at RM800 is decent.

I own all three gen vios, in comparison to 1st & 2nd gen vios,
although 3rd gen has been the most 'cut-cost' among the three gen vios, I still can see toyota has work hard on reducing vios NVH for better driving experience
overall, 3rd gen has better door seal, better underneath aerodynamic, better firewall insulation, better front wheel insulation
another key point in 3rd gen vios is Toyota has re-positioning the engine a bit far away from firewall, unlike 2nd gen, the engine is very close to the firewall
of course acoustic windscreen on G & TRD spec is a value added in term of reducing high speed wind noise from font

Comparing same B-Segment car like Honda City and Vios..
City is much cheaper than Vios and more security features.

Anyone may share your experience why Vios for you guys still a good move..

Thanks for sharing.
