Can elaborate in detail why cost up to rm800@40k service? Was it u took optional service item?

My fren is rm600@40k service. Spark plug, brake flush, air filter and cabin filter add on from normal service. Fully syn oil 3rd gen vios.

I own all three gen vios, in comparison to 1st & 2nd gen vios,
although 3rd gen has been the most 'cut-cost' among the three gen vios, I still can see toyota has work hard on reducing vios NVH for better driving experience
overall, 3rd gen has better door seal, better underneath aerodynamic, better firewall insulation, better front wheel insulation
another key point in 3rd gen vios is Toyota has re-positioning the engine a bit far away from firewall, unlike 2nd gen, the engine is very close to the firewall
of course acoustic windscreen on G & TRD spec is a value added in term of reducing high speed wind noise from font

oic... you've drove all 3 generations before; hence could differentiate it thoroughly.

then, i have no comment on this.

i was coming from a C segment to this Vios; hence i found that the NVH is bad. laugh.gif

40k is the first major service for Vios? I never know these basic stuff can cost a lot.

Comparing same B-Segment car like Honda City and Vios..
City is much cheaper than Vios and more security features.

Anyone may share your experience why Vios for you guys still a good move..

Thanks for sharing.

dashboard design personally i see Mazda 2 is a clear winner. Minimalistic yet luxury.

handling is firmer than our buoying Vios.

2nd value, Toyota all the way.

maintenance cost, Toyota.

its up to you what matters most.

you pay the money.. of course it's up to you..

for both car comparison, if u have no problem in budget, so compare G specs/TRD vs mazda 2.. for me i will choose for mazda 2.. looks nice and unique.. although the back is cramp a bit, but who care.. normally u drive alone.. only bring up family sometimes during weekend.. as long as not fat or big guys will do.. i prefer mazda design than toyota vios.. FC/RV i dont care..

service + part and labor Vios will save you more. if you are looking for stylish of cos go for Mazda2, but if you planning to change car, VIOS. if you only have 1 car around which is this one that you going to buy, Vios. as repair will be faster and cheaper a lot compare to Mazda 2 as Toyota genuine part is everywhere and cheaper a lot...
if you want "Yeng" Mazda 2 SkyActive win it all~
Vios for no worry no mafan drive.
