Means i got a lemon? Guess i gotta send the car back to service centre for them fix it.

Btw, mine is a 1.5E.

Different people do have different results.. It doesn't mean your car is lemon unit. Just probably your driving routes and attitudes is more toward to bad fc.. Maybe u can compare with your previous car..

Others get better fc doesn't mean their car is better.. Just different route and area..

Probably not satisfy in your expectations lo.. But, what to do.. Just pump petrol when car run out of fuel.

Then how bout the rear wheel hitting the fender. This happened not once but several times when i go over potholes and speedbumps with three passenger at the back.
*
^^ actually im not vios owner, i'm preve owner.. for your rear wheel hitting the fender, it's sound more to suspension system in vios more toward softer type.. try use your hand and body pressing the car and listen.. see any sounds come from absorber.. if not probably no problem on it.. probably u may refer back to toyota sc.

Lol I couldn't wait for another 3 years to mod my car. Anyhow, I feel Toyota has less problem in mechanical , electrical or engine wise. More reliable then other brands. tongue.gif

U feel only.. All brands of car is likely the same. Nothing perfect. Go read every car thread and u will notice all cars got some issues. Vios engine Got some sounds during acceleration.. I don't know how to describe that. But do u all notice that?! Auto j, g specs from my friends. But sc said its normal.

Alright. Meaning everyone also notice this engine acceleration sounds. Hmm.. It's significant although the not very loud. But I'm sure every driver and passenger will notice without radio on.

Well, my suggestion is that you get whichever that is cheaper. Car is really a depreciating asset and since you asked here, I assume that you're not rich enough to not be bothered by monthly installment (I am bothered. Hahahaha).

Point of consideration.

1. Load - If you don't bring full passenger/luggage often then Myvi is good enough
2. Finance - Less commitment is always better. You can save it towards property/expenditure instead.
3. Standard - Honestly, For the general public, having a Vios is almost always better than a Myvi but you're the one facing the monetary commitment.

All in all, I'd opt for Myvi. It's as powerful as Vios (if not better than this third gen one) and you have less commitment.

agreed.. pocket ada baru important.. if every month cant save any money not so good.. but depend on every people's situation. some no need to buy house or others.. just spend only and left 200 savings per month would sufficient for them but some need 1k above saving per month.. different people got different perspective.. as long as future owner/buyers feel they able to handle it then just go.. other people's advise just voice out from our own opinion.. not 100% suit to them.

Ya, especially going down hill the engine sound are loud, SC said due to ABS controlling of the gear, already asked the SC log in service report in case any warranty issue. My one J sec.
*
nono.. going down hill that one is engine braking.. good things.. it's like using low gear to hold your car speed.. nothing wrong on that..

the engine sound i mentioned is like Wukwukwuk during acceleration.. not very loud but u can hear that in cabin.. if outside of car, u can hear it very loudly. 2 of my friends and 1 of my relative also got this wukwukwuk sounds..

Everything up to me than how to choose?
Haha.
That's why I need your analysis.
LOL

you pay the money.. of course it's up to you..

for both car comparison, if u have no problem in budget, so compare G specs/TRD vs mazda 2.. for me i will choose for mazda 2.. looks nice and unique.. although the back is cramp a bit, but who care.. normally u drive alone.. only bring up family sometimes during weekend.. as long as not fat or big guys will do.. i prefer mazda design than toyota vios.. FC/RV i dont care..
