Hi, i have been driving the 3rd gen vios for 6 months, i can only get around 320km for a full tank, is it normal? 1st and 2nd gen can get to 400-500km?
Yes and this is all depend u driving attitude and type of engine oil vicosity using. U will have more mileage with 10 30w engine oil compared to 10 40w or 5 40w. Previous gen can reach 500km mileage easily with 10 30w. Then will get 460km with x 40w engine oil. This new vios is really slightly lower mileage compared to previous gen although spec or blogger comment more fuel saving but in actual alot user cant seem to get better than previous gen.
Yes agreed with that.. Since tis latest vios is using mineral type 10w-30 engine oil for 1k and 5k(10k service interval onwards only using 10w-30 semi synthetic.. So performance is not tat smooth while fuel consumption is higher..
And fyi guys, we cant depend on read or heard from the blogger comments to make the conclusion.. We as the owner of the car need to be experince and feel how the result is.. Yes all is by ourself
Btw bro. 10 30w is usually mineral oil wont be having 10 30 semi syn in toyota service center. Semi syn is 10 40 and fully syn is 5 40. Is owner want to look for more fuel saving or more mileage, just keep maintain using mineral oil 10 30 and punctual service interval every 5k yet driving not exceeding 3k rpm all the time. Best driving in not more than 90kmh.
Just wanna ask here, I'm using 2008 vios, recently my alternator got problem coz the battery symbol keep blinking ON n OFF especially after braking until slow or stop. Before this I repair it coz I was in remote area where they don't have the spare parts, it happen until all meter gone black n no more power steering... I ask spare shop n toyota SC, spare part rm400 for recond n original rm1100 while toyota SC quote me sky high price at rm2899 just for alternator only.. So my question is, is it a good idea too buy from halfcut shop? Not sure about price yet
Anyone using semi syn 10w30 from tgmo? I checked with sa can go for 10k oci. Im curious how much does it cost for semi syn? Plannning to downgrade to semi syn since xw 30 can have fuel saving abit.

Hi, can i ask how do we buy that green water cooler for toyota vios which used to avoid car overheat? i found out the water is green color and not the water we use for old car during old times.. sorry im kinda newbie to this..
Toyota coolant is red color. Please use back toyota longlife coolant which can buy from toyota service center for genuine product.

I got this which is similiar to your pentair brand. Mine came with 19w bulb while urs is 21w bulb. Original toyota 2014 model is koito brand fog lamp which i believe came with 55w bulb H11.
Today serbis car cost me alot. Maybe no ong or timing not ngam. 49k major serbis can cost u as high as 1k tho with battery, rotating tyre and wiper replacement.
Haiz battery yuasa so fast dying after almost 2 years usage. Started to grow fungus on positive terminal last 2 month ago.
