The latest jailbreak was released by Evaders on 31st December 2013 that fix the bootloop issue on ipad 2 wifi. It come with Evasion7 1.0.2.

You can download it here

Step by step on Windows

Step by step on Mac

Unfortunately, the new version of jailbreak not bundle with new mobile substrate which we called as Cydia Substrate. So, after jailbreak is done. Open ur Cydia, let it do it work. Once it done, find Cydia Substrate and install it.

Known Bugs:

Status bar will remain and become black in such apps:

1. Camera
2. Photo
3. Call
4. Weather

This is happen after cydia do it work. Hope Saurik will fix this.

Do note that Mobile Substrate have been updated and named as Cydia Substrate.
There is the issue regarding Cydia Substrate where your phone will boot in 2-3 minutes depending on the tweaks you install on your phone. Just be patient.

Jailbroken but honestly most of them don't work.
Even if they work they do not work properly. Suggest those wanting to JB to wait for another month or so.

Yeah, same here.
For example I downloaded Bigify, but it just wouldn't work.
Also downloaded the No Slow Animations but it was buggy. Made everything worse.
Just gotta wait awhile more.

I guess for 64bit devices, u can jailbreak but dont install any tweak yet.. As the tweaks need to be updated to 64bit compatibility.

currently on iPhone 4 but i dun think i wanna upgrade to iOS7 since it seems kinda slow..

i run the tinyumbrella software, connect to Cydia to get all the saved SHSH... i'm on iOS6.1 now but the Saved SHSH shows i have a iOS6.1.2 from Cydia server. So can i restore to iOS6.1.2?

wat's the process?

Start TSS Server then that's it? i start to restore from iTunes using the iOS 6.1.2 IPSW files that i downloaded?

U cant use shsh blob u got fr cydia except ios5 n below. Ios6 must use both shsh blob n apticket tat u save locally before on ur pc.

Guys, any idea how to force iphone5s running in wcdma mode only?i kept getting Edge signal around my house although my android device getting full 3g signal.

I read before, you can do that by editing "csidata" file but those setting did not worked in ios7..

Any idea?

hi, i do have iphone 3gs IOS 6.1.3 BB 6.15.00 jailbreak IOS. I can gain access to wifi network, but I am having problem with No Service. Eventhou, I already turn off Celluar data and 3g and reset network setting. The problem still exist. I already install Ultrasn0w. Any advice according to previous forum discussions last two years?

If i remember correctly, u will have to downgrade your baseband from 6.15.00 to an official one using redsn0w . Then u can install ultrasn0w to unlock again.

Found a minir bug when using activator to lock the phone, it dont have "lock sound", and sometimes if u press the sleep button to lock the phone, the "lock sound" comes from the ear speaker :(

Mine have sound when lock screen with activator.

I set up mine SLIDE ALONG SCREEN BOTTOM with Drag left to right for simulate Home Button

Then SLIDE ALONG SCREEN BOTTOM with Drag right to left for simulate Sleep Button

HOW TO CHANGE TO BLACK KEYBOARD IN APPS BY USING FLEX:

This patch on Flex will allow you to use a dark/black keyboard on any app you choose.
Step 1: Go to Flex, add a patch and select any app you want for the dark keyboard to be enabled. (I'll be using the stock Messages as an example)
Step 2: Now once you chose the desired app, click Add Units...
Process the UIKit library
Now tap on the search bar and search for keyboardAppearance
Step 3: Select keyboardAppearance under Class: UITextInputTraits, nothing else
Step 4: Now go back until you're at the Patch Editor
Click Unit for: KeyboardAppearance and set the override value to 1 like this: Screenshot Click done and make sure to go back to your patches and turn on the new patch you just made!
Result: : Dark Messages Keyboard
You can do this to any app you want. Simply select the app from Step 1.

i all. I dont like to jailbreak and pirated apps / games too. I heard there is another way to get original apps / games without jailbreak. Around RM40 or 50 per year.

Locked the phone for 10 mins. Virtual Home still working to unlock the phone. My TouchID is on, if that matters.

Correction: My phone was connected to my Mac when I tried that. When disconnected, Virtual Home doesn't work after a certain amount of time.

Doesn't work after phone goes into sleep for certain time, its actually behaving like previous I used volume down button as lock button for my iPhone 4 via Activator. After certain time of sleep, the button won't react anymore till you unlock it using the actual button.

Anyone tried JB from IOS 7.1 beta 2? I'm thinking whether to go back to 7.0.4 and JB or just JB 7.1 beta 2 then apply the tweak to disable the expiry date.

try activator, u can set double tap status bar to activate the apps switcher, or if ur purpose is to close the apps in 1 press, try install the ccquick smile.gif

Do you guys 5s really get warm with normal usage? I mean use 3G to Facebook or maybe surfing at lowyat. I can feel the heat on the back if I surf for around 5-10 minutes. My phone got problem? I know heavy gaming will very hot. But is this actually normal?

do u save shsh & apticket for ios6? if no then no way to get it. better go for ios7 then find many way to reduce lagging ios7 on ip4.

u still can save shsh blob+apticket even u r running on ios5. Just go cydia save to their server or better save locally using TinyUmbrella. Go get it know n save ios7 for future purpose.

u cant save shsh blob for the old firmware. Only current firmware can save to Cydia server or locally meaning only iOS7.0.4 at the moment. Better do now bcz iOS7.1 beta2 out oredi. Maybe a month will push out.

Agreed! Some of tweak dont offer trial but we need to try 1st. Since iP4, me spend over hundred bought tweaks but some of the tweaks never update even for iOS6! That a risk u must deal. blink.gif

Referring to ur picture attached and for iphone 4 nothing to worry. u can downgrade to iOS5.0.1 or 5.1.1 (u saved it oredi) n use iFaith. Theres no iOS6 (meaning u didnt save shsh + apticket). So rite now go to cydia n save iOS7 or open TinyUmbrella save both at ur pc (more safe).

Better u download 1st iOS7 using iPsw Downloader then restore/update using iTunes.

I think same google id. Just have the proof fr paypal statement. only 1 show officially pruchase (pwntunes) but not tru manage account at cydia. the rest didnt show anymore like intelliscreenX, airblue, mail rules, adblocker (get it free during promo).

Good if you buy and support if you like but do you know you could ask for a trial from developer to test the app rather then installing cracked apps? Just saying ... I don't have a problem but if those developers raise white flag because too many piracy, whose problem will that be later? Something to ponder ... no? yawn.gif

Bioprotect use battery like hell. Uninstall n use applocker. Cheap just usd1 n use finger scan oso plus the dev have gud reputation. smile.gif

Yes Im. I was use virtualhome plus bioprotect with no prob. then uninstall bioprotect install applocker no prob oso with virtualhome. hmm.gif

Edited : Try to update to the latest. Solve issue of battery n conflict.

btw : Try to lock some an app. then ask Siri to open without required bioprotect. haha. maybe the dev in progress to solve it. tongue.gif

U can save now iOS7.0.4 using Tiny or Cydia even u run iOS5.0.1. Later after update to iOS7 u want to dwongrade to iOS5 just get the shsh blob where u save bfr or get from cydia server using Tiny. Google it how to use. I will post if I have time. Complicated for ip4 owner but lucky coz can downgrade anytime as long as u have shsh blob.

To run Tiny, right click n give admin permission or maybe network error.

Im can run iPSW Downloader without prob, refer picture. Try again. The ipsw size around 1GB yet required best network to download.

Hey guys, just wondering, iOS 7 don't have the "safe mode" like in iOS 6 when accidentally installed something incompatible? My iPod will show up Safe Mode which allows me to go to Cydia and uninstall it but on my iPhone it'll just stuck at Apple logo and have to restore it.

Btw, anyone tried Barrel? Had no luck on getting it work for my iPod on iOS 6.

Guys, I just get my ip5s today. Finally a lagless phone after using ip4 for 3 years.
My old ip4 was on jb 5.1.1.

May I ask if its recommended to do the jb for ip5s with IOS 7.0.4? As I heard there's still a lot of bugs. Should I wait for it or can straight jb it dy? Thank you

Adblocker just block ads in safari/apple app. If u looking for blocking both safari/apple app and cydia, must use from repo or someone who mod the host file. Must change using ifile or ifunbox etc.

My advise just add the repo n get regularly update. smile.gif

This problem usually occurs if u update ur IOS from ur iphone (OTA) instead of using itunes. U shuld download the ipsw for ios 7.0.4 and restore ur iphone through itunes, then only jailbreak

did u enable 'quick unlock' under settings? works fine for me just that it drains quite a lot of battery over time.

TouchID is failing me almost everytime now, even with a new print setup. Either my fingers are dying or the sensor is becoming less accurate .. yawn.gif

My ip5s installed with bioprotect, VH, and few more tweaks.
I have fully charged my phone before sleep.
When i wake up, the battery have lost around 30%.
8 to 9 hours without using it still drain 30%....
Anyone having this problem?

Space Blueberry.. Can find it in cydia. I use winterboard for it. AFAIK, winterboard still cant be use on 5s. However u can apply it manually through ifile by copy n paste.

My wife always swap from bottom screen to go to home screen even with my 5S which ended up activating the Ccenter...lol...

u can hide cccenter bro.. but u need to use activator to activate gesture from bottom like this and disable notification center on lock screen and in application from settings. if not, u will go into safemode.

in Application :

slide gesture from bottom, left, right - home button

at home screen

slide gesture from bottom, left, right - activate switcher

it will act like zephyr..

the only u will miss is Control Center.

This is what i use now.. haha

so, look alike zephyr.. icon_rolleyes.gif

For me, i jailbreak cause i want to use some tweaks.. not all tweaks will be downloaded.. many of free tweak is enough for me.. i will buy for tweaks that i really want it after reading through forum or google about it. because, not all tweak is really use for us..same goes for apps from apple store.. smile.gif

That happen when you activate switcher but accidentally swipe frm bottom/ bottm left & right then the white CCenter bar will appear. But no "Safe mode" substrate error so far. Pretty stable la..

Red chun but when it at home screen plus darker Statusbar, cant really see. If white sure a lot of contra, aite??
Btw, planning to experiment porting font if got enough time later. The font never been ported into Bytafont/ Fontswap, but damn it seems a bit complex when I browse the font folder. Not like the 2G era..

For battery no u need to install no percent sign from cydia and enable pecentage in settings.

Jailbreak or not? If not, no problem bro.. Just reset>erase and delete all content.. It will not force u to go to ios 7.. If jailbreak, look for semi restore or u can use ilexrat for it.. But i reccomend u to use semirestore app.. So easy.. smile.gif

yours is iPhone what? downgrade only works with iPhone 4.
iPhone 4S or newer cannot downgrade.

I'm ok if the ad stays at the bottom of activator setting. But it is annoying as it keeps popping up even though I back up into ios settings. I just dun wan it to pop up so often sad.gif

i put my fingerprint when unlocking device, after unlock its like holding it and it will be like pressing the home button

so instead of unlocking, im pressing the home button.

i have iphone 5, jb with ios 6.0.1.
i just bought 5s so want to pass my 5 to my sister.

how do i clear all my data/settings and restore my 5 for her to use while maintaining the ios 6.0.1 ?

i was also wondering whether i can clear my data/ownership away from my 5 and let install her settings and apps from her iphone 4 WITH all the jb apps intact ?

TQ in advance

on a 2nd thought, i really want to maintain all the settings and apps from cydia when passing her the iphone 5. is it possible ?

Hello, need help, I am stuck at iOS 5.x jailbroken

What step I need to take now

Update to ios7 and then jb with the latest jb as posted?

So I supposed updated ios7 will wipe out all my apps? Except for the basic apple apps of course.

How can I sync or backup without iTunes?

Then, how can I make sure all my apps remain and all the downloaded files like movie and tv series via my apps still able to restore when I restore the apps....

i finally semi restore my 6.0.1 !

but i can't restore it back at the set-up page in itunes. said the firmware is too old. had to set it up as new phone.

inside itunes, i cannot restore backup as i could not find the name on the list. only can see my 5s and 5 but cannot see the 4.

FYI, i am migrating the 4 to 5, and i did a backup of 4 twice yesterday and today.

any advise ?

to update to ios 7,u need restore ur device,before restore,backup with itunes,if dun want via itunes,try itools..ios 5 dun have icloud..

i don't know whether xcon tweak is the problem but that's the last tweak i uninstalled before getting "PDP authentication failure". celcom is looking into it. is it caused by the jailbreak? internet forums say it's a network problem

My wife's JB iOS6 ip5 is still having this issue since 3 weeks ago... The 1 st week, no data at all... Now at least the data available in the morning... We are using Celcom... Just tiaw the CS & make sure that the fill in your report on the spot & you should get the SMS notification with the report no on the spot too...

Yes, last time i used to be i5 iOS 6.1 jailbroken and the experience is lags free. Now on iOS 7 when rotate u will see a serious animation lag but performance still ok. Just update larh more things to play with icon_idea.gif

anyone knows any app that can prevent the phone from shutting down when locked? currently i've disabled wifi, data and airplane mode toggles when locked since my data is always on. now all i need is prevent the phone from shutting down when locked. this is to prevent people from turning it off and at least i could immediately use iCloud and find my iPhone. thanks. smile.gif

U can try set google dns. It worked for me. If u find it slow connection u can always revert back to default dns.

I think Biounlock just added this feature but I'm not really sure. Make sure the tweak is from Elias Limneos, and it does work with iphone without TouchID

It's Bioprotect by Elias Limneos. I wasn't sure of the name because I myself have not JB my phone, so I can't check in Cydia. I was hoping that you would search it yourself in Cydia as I only remember the dev that develop the tweak. He updated thru twitter when there's an enhancement for his tweak.

Me.. much better than ip4 ios 7 jailbreak, buttery smooth even I have near 40 tweaks in my phone. thumbup.gif
Most tweaks can be installed without problem. Some iOS 7 only tweaks fully working on 6.1.3.

You are right. The tweak is really neat.
Allows one to set any app to open with the need to scan your finger.
Settings allowed as well.

Oh ya, if I'm not mistaken, I have read some article (log time ago) saying that there are some part have been changed even we already hard reset/format the phone into default factory setting... But that thing will never affected any function etc... Is it true?

Lol?? There is no such thing. JB only software exploiters which grant you root permission, it wont affect until the hardware(s) level firmware. After you restore, all gone as normal. Thats all..

chrome downloader plus working and much more better than safari download manager tho. u can directly import music to your music app. u should try that. i dont use moviebox.

There are always alternative for something.

theres lot of fun tweaks for ios 7 that makes me upgrade my iphone 5 ios 6.1.2 to ios 7.0.4. cannot tahan.

last time my whatsapp also got this problem then i restart seem okay until now biggrin.gif
my whatsapp problem was unable to sent picture also haha,once click choose existing photo then pop out le shakehead.gif

but then sometimes it will crash then need restart shocking.gif

Definitely a tweak causing the bug.
Try look back which tweak you downloaded thats associated with Whatsapp.
If really cannot find, 3 options for you:

1. Delete all tweaks, and reinstall one by one again. Test whatsapp after each tweak installation.
2. If still happen, restore device.
3. If lazy do the above 2, just live with it.

MobileSubstrate don't have save mode anymore? Last time what I did if encounter any issue with JB tweak, turn off all substrate by using sbsettings or springtomize and then turn on 1 by 1 until found the culprit. If delete all tweaks and reinstall really leceh for me. But that was during my JB days la. Now really content with stock iOS7 smile.gif
