Anyone tried JB from IOS 7.1 beta 2? I'm thinking whether to go back to 7.0.4 and JB or just JB 7.1 beta 2 then apply the tweak to disable the expiry date.

Wait until bundled with cydia first. Manual install is not for the faint-hearted especially if you're not familiar with the steps.

QUOTE(adibhaniff @ Oct 29 2014, 08:02 PM) Any if u guys applied the passcode/touchid fix after jailbreaking? Coz your device will freeze if u set up passcode after jailbreak. I've applied it and mu device is working just fine. Love the noslowanimation and virtual home tweak. Waiting for the complete package with Cydia and this issue solved. |

CCSettingss is updated. Now you can have more toggles on your Control Center.
I especially like the Data and the Lock screen toggles. |

Try reviewing this link for those apps or tweaks which are compatible with the jailbreak.

QUOTE(zuhairi1991 @ Nov 4 2014, 07:57 PM) Stuck means you have to dfu restore already. After restoring to 8.1, if you want to restore your backup first do it immediately. After that only run the jail break, then click on cydia and let it do its thing. After this is done only enable passcode. I found out the hard way also. Was in panic mode for the duration of restoring the phone in dfu mode. After that everything was fine. To be safe, don't turn on passcode. Btw, pangu jb app v1.2 is out with more fixes. |

You can JB using IOS8 also. But better to do a clean install of 8.1 then only do the jailbreak. 8.1.1 is not released yet and is still in beta stage.
But if you want/plan to JB better do it before Apple releases 8.1.1 else once it is out you won't be able to JB. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Nov 5 2014, 12:31 AM) After reading about virtual home app I decided to JB my ip6+. Process was fast and easy n all my installed stuffs all remain intact. The virtual home app is indeed very good as now just slightly rest finger at home button can do so much stuffs. I do find the home button stiff n need some slight pressure to tap it down most of the time I've set double-tap to bring up multi-tasking and tap and hold to turn off/lock the phone. It will be nice though if I can wake the phone up with the Touch-ID too without having to press on the home button. Any known solution to this? |
