Yeah, for those who are renovating this year, they really need to pay much more compared to last year. So, better buy quick dont delay renovation.

Lucky you, i believed you already bought everything you need before the price increase.

For pricing, you will need to drop by my showroom to select the models according to your preference. DO drop by quick as Rubine and Fotile price will increase next month

Dear all,
Hi. I need your opinion on which recirculation cooker hood type if im on budget concious shopping since im living in a kuarters and cannot do wall hacking job to install the ducted cooker hood type? The cheapest once i saw in Lazada is the Morgan brand about RM350. Ive read around and theres mentioned about charcoal filter typically installed on recirculated typw which a little bit puts me off due nature that we need to replace this filter once in a while. Yeah, i guess it is not easy to get the replacement filters right? Or is there any suggestions from u guys?

Thank you in advance. Appreciate your response on this.

Regards.

Dear Sifus,

Which you say is more effective: -

1) Get a ducted by end up with vents way more than 4m and with 2 bends

or

2) Get a recirculating type

Appreciate your thoughts and opinions smile.gif

standard length is 3m (10ft) with 1 bend, if 4m(13ft) with 2 bends i think it should still be better than recirculating. I have customers upto 15 ft and they are still happy with the performance of the hood.

Recirculating is not something desirable, at least for me. Need to clean and replace filter and usually still cannot remove odor I think.

For your 7m, probably the hood location is not at 7m. How many bend. My hood also do not recommend long run but I'm glad I never follow. Mine is about 20' with 1 bend at the hood there

Vertically 1 metre then a 90 deg bend. Then a 5m straight, another 90 deg and 2 metres straight to outside.

Haih... Super bad layout by developer... They gave FOC a Rubine recirculating hood and induction hob, which I think they're trying to tell us buyers something...

5m probably to right or left and then 2m up(?). Can't imagine going where. Roof? You plan for ventilating with which hood brand?

From hood goes up to ceiling approx 1 m
Then goes out to the yard around 5m
Then turn left and go straight another 2m out via yard balcony

Looking at Fotile lo, since bro zheilwene's video so convincing whistling.gif

Thanks smile.gif I guess u r right, when they gave you a recirculating hood, may be really no way to do it. Actually, it is possible to add a ventilation to boost the air pressure, i don sell this but seen some1 done it before.

If you plan to put in-line booster fan, just make sure the hood you use can get rid of the oil vapor before entering the via duct. Otherwise, the fan will accumulate oil in long run. That airegard is not designed for that, I believe. It is for pure air circulation.

Maybe you can just try without it first. It might just work without additional boost since air is not much of a load anyway. The performance drop might be not that significant. Which Fotile model you were looking at?
