Actually, every salesperson will say their product is the best. So, as consumers, you will need to do all the research and determine what you think is best for you. Ask friends/relatives, i bliv some of them are using Fotile, then u will know fotile is good or not.

I m still selling, using and supporting Fotile all these years (close to 10 years) as their products are really good.

You can always go check out the physical unit and test it out. People who carry a brand and model will always be bias unless is conducted by a neutral body. Use your own judgment, don't get mislead by claims.

There is no one model & brand fit all, everyone preference and priorities are different.

I recorded this video using only my hanhdpone at home, this is 100% real not like advertisement in TV where it is edited and etc.

Read back all the posts in this and other threads, Fotile EH10BQ has been my best seller since 7-8 years ago. Upto date, there is only one customer complain in the forum regarding warranty issue which i already resolved for him within 30 min after he had given me his details and got his hood fixed for free since it is under warranty smile.gif

in this thread, page1 year 2013 you can see some of genuine customer feedback

To install the rubine boxline hood, just use the hook? Drill 4 / 5 holes. And screw the hook into the hole. Then put the hood on the hook?

How much is the weight of the hood? From the box, its 20kg++.. Thats heavy.

My installer doesnt use the hook. Im not sure how he installed the hood. And he installed the hood 32 inches above the hob.

Need to re-place the hood 26inches above the hob. Sighhhh

If the installer is not sure how to install, you should get a professional installer or consult the seller, just give the salesperson a call, he should provide you the after sales service.

FYI is 29". 26 is too low, might b blocking your eyesight.

Hi zheilwane,

Sorry newbie noob question incoming.

Getting my keys to my studio soon, so from what i see from the floor plan, i dont have a window near kitchen. So does a hood must have a place to pump out the smoke sucked?

For my renovation, should i check out the hood & hob first and then only ppl design the cabinets etc?I'm not reli sure what to do lol

Planning to get a good hood, i hate to clean oily kitchen

Get a good kitchen cabinet salesperson to go have a site visit, design your cabinet and advise whether it is possible to duct out and design cabinet.

Step 2, after getting the 3d design with measurements, drop by my shop for me to give 2nd advise smile.gif

As many customers and i feel maintenance is one of the most important factor for choosing a good hood and hob, that is why we got fotile to manufacture GCG series hob for us. However, after using it, i feel that we could still improve the hob. After several discussions and trials, we finally got the best base plate to make cleaning the hob much easier.

Tested for 3 months at home, the plate still look like brand new smile.gif Will be giving out several units to existing customer to test it in June 2016.

Existing Fotile GCG Hob user may now purchase the plate and upgrade your hob smile.gif

I am using gcg 90301, flame power is as good as my previous rinnai but maintenance is so much easier. However, due to normal wear and tear the hob got scratches when we scrub it hard to remove burnt stain. Cant wait to try the new plate, good job zheilwane and thanks for the free plate.

For the hood, i am using eh10bq and it serves me well also, no regrets purchasing it from zheilwane.

Yes. I am using it for 2.5 years now.
Scratch resistant would be good.
