KW does not = flame power. kW is only gas output.
As compared, GCG 90301 is 3.8kW but flame power is stronger than a 4.5kW rubine
When customers asked me about 5kW hobs, i will ask them back these questions, you could also check this with your current old hob
1) What hob are you using? Most customers will tell me the normal stainless steel table top hob from super market (rm 200-300+) or may be elba or rubine.
2) Are you happy with your current flame power? Most customers will say yes. So, a basic hob flame power is sufficient, GCG 90301 will definitely be stronger.
3) Is cleaning the hob a big problem for you and do you have these stains?
4) Is your wok blocking the middle burner?
5) And etc etc....
After checking all these, you will definitely able to choose what is best for you. Getting a hob is not as easy as just looking at the kW, must consider a lot other things and the best is to look back at your existing hob and ask yourself what you dont like about this old one and what you hope to have for the new one. After many years of upgrading the Fotile GCG series hob, i would say now there is nothing much to upgrade already. We even have the new scratch resistant plate upgraded to this GCG hob but official release will be next year

i'm looking for new hood and cooktop and oven for my new home.
read a few post, seem like Fotile EH10BQ Hood and Fotile GCG90301 Hob is highly recommended.
but how about Oven? any recommendation?
btw, whats the price range of the hood and hob, please advice.
thanks and best regards.
True, EH10BQ and GCG 90301 is highly recommended as it is value for money and proven to be a good product for the past many years. Many forumers used it and are happy with it, if the product is no good, definitely customers will start complaining. Check back my posting, since 8 years + already.
For oven, i am using KES 6003a and it is sufficient for us. Easy to use and value for money. Just drop by our showroom for more info, will give u more tips also

From what i know the most popular brand now is senz as advertised germany technology. I don sell senz but compared the products with fotile also with germany technology which i m selling. I guess many customers heard their advertisement on radio and recently many inquiries for electric hob
1) Most Electric hobs are using Schott Ceran ceramic glass from GERMANY Fotile & Senz also using the same glass but cant find this info for pacifica. Schott Ceran is one of the top ceramic glass supplier in germany.
2) Most vitroceramic hobs are using E.G.O Heating Element from GERMANY also. Roughly browse through several Pacifica vitroceramic and as per website is also using EGO. Senz & FOTILE also using EGO
3) Touch screen system some using LED where by the buttons will only appear when you turn on the hob and some cheaper models do not. I think with LED button it is more durable and easier to clean the hob. Fotile and Senz do have these type of touch screen but pacifica not sure, could not find this touch screen system in their website.
Conclusion, most brands do not manufacture their own electric hobs, they only purchase the parts like glass and heating element, then assemble them. So, the difference now is the after sales service + price and any other special feature of the hob.
Do more research online before buying as salesperson could come out with all sort of stories to convince you.
For Example : I heard some brands claim their hobs have energy saving but after checking it is not energy saving but just safety feature such as the hob will auto turn off when it reaches the desired temperature and automatically turn back on to maintain the temperature, this is to prevent overheating and most electric hobs have it but some brands advertise it as energy saving macam their brand only have it.
