lol, should have asked or read reviews before purchase. After purchased better dont check already later susah hati. What i can only say EH13 is the oldest hood under fotile which is their entry line level and does not have all the new fotile technology.

Most hoods are only 200watt - 300watt, contractors should know as it is standard 13amp.

200watt / 240 = 1amp only....

I am looking at Effegi (1st Choice), Rubine (2nd Choice) at the moment.

Can you enlighten me of your experience with the Rinnai Hob + Fotile hood? If I read it correctly, you are using Fotile's hood rite?

Rinna hob is good, can satisfied my 20" cast iron wok, and strong flame. Fotile hood did it job too, cleaning the hoob is bit pain in the azz. Don't expect zero oil on the floor, hood just reduce the oil splashing out, still need to clean the surrounding. I also try out Rinnai hood and stove at my friend house, is good too. You can consider Rinnai hood too.

Honestly, me and my hubby kinda convinced by your reply after reading tons and tons of your reply all across this lowyat forum. Thanks for sharing all the informations here.

By the way, have you encountered any problems with the Rinnai hob before and if yes, does Rinnai provides good after sales service?

Rinnai Service center at Ara Damansara. Lucky I didn't encounter any problem so far. Don't look me so up, I am just speaking from personal experience and observation.

how to clean the kitchen exhaust hood? mine used 2 years already.

Usually clean filter only, the sirocco fan inside a little hard to clean, best to get a technician but if u wish to diy also can. This is like air con, we usually clean filter only. For the blower, we get technician to clean.
