isn't he the TS for Note 2 thread?
imo judging from the Note 2 thread, its not really good.
For one, The front page is too heavy, even loading with chrome, it still lags pretty badly.
This completely destroys any form of user experience there is. Its the reason I don't embed videos on the front page anymore.
Secondly, information overload, there are too much info in the page, what that does it makes finding for info difficult.
and, there are very minimal design effort put into it, its basically cram as much stuff as possible in a page.
To me, it feels like a Touchwiz ROM.
But of course this matter is very subjective, so this is just my opinion.
A well designed thread example, I would vote for Nexus 4's one, there are loads of info, but organized nicely and everything appears tidy. Most importantly, when you open that thread, it doesn't lag badly.
Haha, thanks for the compliment, and also good critique.
I agree I'm not a "design" type of guy. I wish I could have made some improvements in arrangement, but a wiki would be more conducive to that than a linear forumn.
There was so much information that I tried to organize, but again, the linear structure of a forum constrained the layout.
I also commend the N4 thread as I learned from it while organizing the Note 2 thread. I did make some functional improvements, notably the Changelog, since I think I was the first to implement it.
Good luck to the thread with the current TS.
