noob question here....ap set the adapter is not compatible with malaysia current right? mostly you guys will use the converter.... if i got extra 3 pin plug (from htc one x last time) can just use it to charge my n5? will explode or not ?

N5 spec is using 1.2A charger. and no issue at all if using the converter since most are import set. htc one x should be using 1A charger (you can double check your charger spec). you will get charge slower for sure. suggest stick back original bundled charger.

No such thing. I have yet to hear such thing. Infact the extra pin is even better as it is for earth. And please don't call yourself a noob as I have seen you owing many android phones already

Its safe to use a higher amp on the nexus 5.. i dont want to cause an issues but i do miss how fast my S4 used to charge using its 2.0 amp adapter.

I dont see any problem here. As long dont use Chap Ayam brand one then okay.. any OEM Samsung brand should work alright.
Don't listen too much legendary myth on the internet that people telling you will explode or the battery turn fat. 1 year only got 2-3 case around the world.
