I know, that's why you see LG has been maintain silence as the source told me the nexus5 is already in Malaysia, (beta unit) and it is ready to launch and was supposed to launch on the end of November to the early week of Dec but the Brightstar decided to end their tied contract due to low volume sales in MY so LG has to hold their phone.

That guys is lying because my nexus5 only last around 10hours! only facebook, calling and web browsing for awhile. The screen drained the most of my battery. (As claimed by the stock battery app).

Nexus4 drain quiet fast dowh especially when browsing. Nexus4 easily can lost 2%-3% battery drop for 5minute browsing. It's different with Nexus5, just lost 1%. Forgot to mention, in office, my coverage is LTE. So u can see the battery performance of Nexus5 compare to Nexus4 just limit to 3G.

trying out elementalX 0.14, using faux123 app
should I turn on mpdecision?
also, feel compelled to use faux kernel as I have the app, though elementalx reportedly gives better battery life
*
already 0.15
yes, turn mpdecision ON, advised by dev

That is why use Greenify to block it from wake up. sweat.gif Tried Friendcaster, don't like the interface much.. sad.gif Tried Flipster, like the interface indentical to Offical FB apps but still lack of certain feature.

oh yeah. also suggest Wakelock Detector + Greenify is best combo must have. from Wakelock Detector, just can tap the highest wakelock app shortcut direct to Greenify it.

Nexus 4 simply reboot lose 2%-4%. Browsing 5min lose 1-3%. Nexus 4 is great phone but the battery life for me is just MEH... sleep.gif
Now only rely on CustomKernel to extend SOT from 2hours to 3hours or 3.5hours

Most important is Screen On Time and whether you're on 3G/Wifi most of the time or not. If no 3G/LTE + web browsing/facebook/bla bla expect the times to be reduced by almost half

I can't remember where I refer, but my current setting as below:

during flash:
1. default speed for all core.
2. OC to 2.5
3. UV set to 700000
4. current ramdisk
5. check all optional stuff: disable fsync, S2W, FastCharge, etc....
6. also checked ElementalX governor (new in 0.15)
7. flash done and reboot.

after booted, then using trickster to control more:
1. mpdecision ON
2. checked fsync, OFF it if not
3. frequency locked ON, min 300, max 2.2 only although I flash to 2.5. manual adjust it when only performance needed. max screen off: 1.190
4. UV ref, (all credit to xda link I post in V2), I just extract it from the xml file attached:

Many people worried about the battery issue, for me I am using Nexus 5 and I feel the battery is much longer compared with my old GNex.

Still left 30% although yesterday keep using it for facebook, insta, line, etc.

I think the battery life is actually depends on the user's behaviour. tongue.gif

Based on the info from V2, you have to send it back to its original country for warranty claim.
You can still do repairs on local LG stores, but you kene bayar la.
It's suggested to do repairs locally rather than sending it back because its gonna cost more.
*
AP set can be repaired locally with charges still ok, better then shipped back to original country (with shipping fees) and wait for so long. If this is the case I might consider to buy from KL.
