If you asked me, reliable would be techbug. I know the guy personally, very friendly & cool guy. If any problem he will help you claim warranty but you need to pay postage around RM90 to US, postage from US back to malaysia he will cover.

If cheapest then probably D820 model, can get around RM1.4k iirc, otherwise like others said D821 model can get around ~RM1.5k.

If you not going for LTE then cheapest of all would be D820 model lo. Can get for RM1.4k, otherwise DirectD would be cheapest I think unless you have friends over australia or japan. Bought mine for < RM1.3k

I dont think there is the "best" case. All has its own pro and cons. If best value vs quality case then I think would be ultra hybrid? Since it comes with free screen protector, no need to fork out further. RM70 including postage is not bad I think

Australia you need to use vpn to access google playstore over there. Its going for AUD399 + AUD20 (shipping). Super cheap if you have someone to bring it back for you

You can do that but shipping isn't cheap, my friend quote me around AUD130 - 150. That is the weight of 3 units because cheaper to share with other friends on shipping.

Process depends on luck, if kastam didnt hold it then you will get it otherwise you will need to apply SIRIM. 1 SIRIM sticker can use for 3 phones of the same model (not sure about colour) so that is why I calculated for 3 units. It cost RM100 for SIRIM. Thats about it, no taxes for phones.

Shipping for 1 unit alone I think around AUD80 - 90. Comes around RM1.5k already excluding SIRIM. You might as well get it locally if not planning to share the shipping cost.

Storage really cant comment la, really depends on what you want to store & how you use it. 12GB isnt much, currently using 16gb sd card in my current phone but I think to save couple of bucks, I can live with it. Just cut down a few songs will do.

Its hard to say bro, I believe this haven't receive the hardware tweaks. Its 311k batch but power button seems pretty solid to me. I need the old model to compare the speaker holes, unless there is any other way of verifying?

I saw the article before, its hard to compare based on online pictures. The volume button & power button seems to be solid & more "popped out" but speaker holes seems to be small like in the picture. But then again I never hold the old units before in hand so its kinda hard to say. You will need to have both units to compare, hard to compare with just pictures online.

That's true, most seller is like this (well not all). I heard many RMA problems with directD but that was almost a year ago so maybe they improved? But for this phone, right now we dont really have much options unless willing to pay more

Its basically how android manages the applications run on the phone, no noticeable difference on nexus 5. Only improvement you will notice is battery life when the phone is in idle state as the background applications don't have to comping from source when it needs to push updates etc. Only downside of it is the applications in your phone will use a little bit more storage space which isn't much from what I notice. I don't have many big applications anyways so it might vary.

If you want to see speed improvement, then you will need to run apps like photoshop. Only those kind of apps you can notice the loading time is much faster with ART.

That's true, not to mention windows RT or was it PRO last time that was a joke. Samseng bloats up with unnecessary apps.

Even if its 4GB also I wouldn't mind. Kit kat is so optimized & awesome that i am willing to trade storage for the speed at any day. I dont think that theory applies to phone storage, although I could be wrong.
