LG Malaysia is very busy with LG Pocket. Lol.
I think dont need to wait for official Nexus5. Just go for import set or AP set provide by seller in LYN. |

QUOTE(NightFelix @ Dec 16 2013, 11:44 AM) LongLastFX My usage:Can tell more about your usage and feeling on how you using Nexus 5 between Nexus 4 for the battery life? I do browsing(I use Chrome) a lot and it just drained too fast on my Nexus 4. 1) Facebook 2) Clash of Clan 3) Browsing using Opera 4) viewing instagram 5) pick up 3/4 call in office hour. Unplugged at 6.30am. and drive to office for 20min. arrive at office, the battery still indicate 100%. after 1 hour just lost 1%.With my nexus4, after driving for 20min, i lost 2% of battery. In lunch hour, with nexus4 i already lost 50%. Nexus is far more better, losing 20% of battery. Can see the significant different between nexus 5 and nexus 4. at the end of the day, my nexus 5 still indicate 50% of battery left. if nexus4, only 20% left. i'm using stock kernel for both nexus. QUOTE(FenomX @ Dec 16 2013, 12:03 PM) Depend on what app u install in your phone. also monitor the network coverage in your area, the network also effect your battery life.QUOTE(NightFelix @ Dec 16 2013, 12:03 PM) Other than above your usage almost similar to mine, but your Nexus 4 battery dropping almost 99% identical to mine... at the end of the day left 20% battery as well or even worst. Nexus4 drain quiet fast dowh especially when browsing. Nexus4 easily can lost 2%-3% battery drop for 5minute browsing. It's different with Nexus5, just lost 1%. Forgot to mention, in office, my coverage is LTE. So u can see the battery performance of Nexus5 compare to Nexus4 just limit to 3G. |

QUOTE(Kid Man @ Dec 16 2013, 07:00 PM) Guys is it ok if we use non-local set? Still no news about Local set either from LG malaysia or telco. or better we wait for local set launch? Any Idea when he coming to Mysia? Is it the price of non local set lower than local set or vice versa? My experience with Nexus4 early 2013, the local set price is higher than import or AP set. If u willing to wait, just wait for local set with local warranty. Now, u can get AP set with local warranty too. but limit with 16gb version only. |

QUOTE(infernoaswen @ Dec 17 2013, 10:40 AM) Storage really cant comment la, really depends on what you want to store & how you use it. 12GB isnt much, currently using 16gb sd card in my current phone but I think to save couple of bucks, I can live with it. Just cut down a few songs will do. Nexus5 support USB OTG. 16gb should not be a problem to play media with USB drive. Now days we got apps like spotify, everything is going to the cloud already. I think can manage la |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Dec 17 2013, 09:12 PM) Settings is same and exactly as 3G : celcom3g Hi benny,For Celcom ( unlike Maxis) you must change to a specific LTE enabled simcard - most normal 3G simcards will not work. In KL - there are 3 places ( menara Celcom Jln Semarak, Bluecube Sunway, KLCC) you can have the card change and is free and activation is immediate. No idea whether there are now more centers to change it - try call their helpline to find out No need to change sim card. Just go to Menara celcom, or bluecube and request with them to activate the 4G LTE. Make sure that the plan or prepaid is under Celcom First plan. |

QUOTE(Xnet @ Dec 17 2013, 09:22 PM) No its not the same If your Sim already 4G LTE. When u slot in into your Nexus5, the APN should celcom4g. If the LTE not appear, u need to activate the LTE at Celcom for your nexus5. This is because, Nexus5 is not in Celcom system. Different with HTC One or other mainstream LTE phone, the LTE already automatic activated.I had celcom4g as the setting on my HTC One but then its now with the idiots at HTC under going surgery |

QUOTE(apendots @ Dec 17 2013, 09:32 PM) So thats mean that I have to go to bluecube or celcom centre to activate my LTE? Cause mine also didn't show any LTE connection since i brought this phone, even though i already changed my sim to micro sim and ask celcom to activate my LTE. Make sure our area have LTE coverage. If u already asked Celcom to activate, then u should have your LTE connection. The activation just take 5min only. |
