I can probably understand because the Nexus 5 is slim and the bezels are so thin, which is so awesome but adding on the cases make them look much bigger?

Anyway...its personal preference i can say. I'm kind of like the slimness and the matte finishing of its body, may want to take the risk to be naked.

12GB+ usable storage for us to utilise out of 16GB.

Its basically how android manages the applications run on the phone, no noticeable difference on nexus 5. Only improvement you will notice is battery life when the phone is in idle state as the background applications don't have to comping from source when it needs to push updates etc. Only downside of it is the applications in your phone will use a little bit more storage space which isn't much from what I notice. I don't have many big applications anyways so it might vary.

If you want to see speed improvement, then you will need to run apps like photoshop. Only those kind of apps you can notice the loading time is much faster with ART.

You will need to update to 4.4.2, that issue has been solved in the latest rom update. Now whatsapp works fine.

No it isnt. Formatted capacity alone isnt exactly 16GB. Look at your pendrive or harddrive, is 16GB really means you have exactly 16GB?

Actually these are reserved space by OS. If you need to reduce storage capacity as much as you want, you may flash apps through recovery, coz it will install into those reserved OS storage. Problem is difficult to find flashable apps, may need to dig around forum.
