I installed the Defender pedal lock, made by same locktech company which rebranded. No need to cut any wires and no need to install socket. Since I have the push start button, I need to depress brake pedal to start, therefore cut of socket for brake is not necessary. just install the lock on the nuts and you[re good to go. extra protection is always better.

You guys forgot paddle shifters? Very fun to use it. Huhu especially during overtaking. Just push the minus button on normal drive mode it automatically takes u to manual mode for over taking then will automatically go to auto mode.

Yes same problem I had. It's the plastic trim. I sent to the SC for them to install insulation and the problem was resolved. I went to the PJ seksyen 19.

If you have a toyota tribe account, you can follow this thread below.

I have complain to the sc. They have made me an appointment with a technician middle of this month. Hope they solve it. Fyi my 1st service has been done and i must say i love toyota sc. Loving the car everyday even though hv weird noises at times. Nowdays all car has this kind of noise. Even my relations bmw and peg 508 and honda huhu. What's important is reliability and after sales just for me.

Still no news on the official launched by Toyota except the price memo circulated by the Toyota branches.

Besides, even branches also no idea when the new 1.8G & 1.8E car model arrived to their show room...Promotion or discount also no ideas...

Very strange hmm.gif hmm.gif

Hi Everyone,

I just get my car last Friday,

After using for few days,i discover a weird problem.

When i try to wind down the auto window at the driver seat continuously for 3 to 4 times (keep up and down),the auto window will stop functioning(no reaction when you press the switch again) for 1 to 2 minutes, then after 1 to 2 minutes,it work again, and if you repeat the up and down process for 3 to 4 times, again its stop functioning for another 1 to 2 minutes.

I had called my SA about this problem and he told me that this is normal, is a safety features to keep the auto window motor from overheating, but I do not buy his full story because i cannot believe that just 3 or 4 times will overheat the motor.

Before i go back to Toyota service centre, i come here to confirm first.

Does your new Altis have the same problem?

Thanks smile.gif
