Classy i think not, but undoubtly uniq the clif style. Dark theme sporty match outlook perfectly.
The key remote knock the panel frequently while driving, shld took the keyless option, LOL... u all feel the same? |

Interesting.
I lengthen the remote tie n has reduced knocking now. Still it is a design overlook. Another design fault is the shiny stripes across the cliff panel and gear surround, reflect sun light like mad under hot sun. |

QUOTE(Sawamura @ May 5 2014, 01:51 PM) Can someone please enlighten me. I have been trying to check out 1.8E at showroom, but all display V model only. If u know chinese, there is a guy shared quite a number of 1.8 pics at cari forum. What i need to know: 1. The dashboard picture. Especially the headunit and the AC panel. 2. I understand that onlt G and V will get the optiron meter. So how will E looks like. Is it just an amber meter (like old myvi). |

QUOTE(Sawamura @ May 7 2014, 07:15 PM) Still torn between altis 1.8e vs civic 1.8s Best is go test drive both cars, may be a few times. If altis 1.8e, my concerns are: - dont have vsc whilst civic has. - altis is torsion beam, civic multilink - i prefer civic modern looking meter n dashboard If civic 1.8s, concerns are: - plassssticccc.. As compared to altis - i believe honda maintenance is higher than toyota generally - low headroom at rear seat - less rear leg space Looking at the price, since Honda have 3k discount promotion, both also about the same price.. Dont think we can help you choose as you yourself also know too well their pro n cons. For me is straightforward: must be C segment, cvt, Japanese. Actually aim the new sylphy much earlier, waiting for turtle tan chong to launch. When umw overtook n the new altis being so stylish, deal close. |

akim45... After 2 years you finally settle on Altis... congratulations on the 2.0v
1k 5k 10k and every 10k after. Diesel is 5k interval though. Can use any TGMO (Toyota Genuine Motor Oil) be it mineral semi or full. Entirely your choice. Check your user manual or with Toyota hotline. Your SA BS you. For me, mineral for 1k 5k. 10k onwards semi cos price difference is small. This post has been edited by hjack: May 17 2014, 06:03 PM |

QUOTE(Bfsam999 @ May 18 2014, 12:26 PM) YES bro i also feel the car is very bumpy also for the first few day, after i release pressure then its ok!!! the stupid toyota pumped in more than 300psi i think everybody same cos i saw a lot of post saying about it hahahahaha Prepared for stock yard, is a norm lo.Torsion beam suspension not really comfortable. Multilink, from my ex Wira, is as good if not more comfortable than this Altis. |

PJ sees a lot more Altis now, less exclusivity. .. sigh
New Civic can hardly be found though. No matter what, new City is flooding the streets. |

Just did 5k service. After excluded windscreen washer, rm70+ only for mineral oil and gasket. No oil filter change recommended.

haha .. 2.0G owners should be more
1.8G --> + push start + auto headlight + semi leather seats - 200cc - roadtax = 3.1k LESS, which sound like a better deal. Anyway since they are reviewing their lineup, I rather UMWT includes ESC / more airbag / free services / longer warranty etc than those gadgets. Add them into 1.8G, price it 125k same with Sylphy VL would kill it effectively. 125k also have wider gap vs 1.8E... another poor marketing strategy ?? The price list include auto headlight for 1.8E but spec sheet not... typo? |

QUOTE(aromachong @ Oct 15 2014, 01:23 PM) luckily i choose 2.0V with additional safety kits. yes i agree 2.0G and 1.8E will rage.. so many things add up for 1.8G... keyless entry and leather seat the major add up haha.. Well, buying late sure have more goodies as time pass by. If u get a 1.8g now, who knows they will give 7 airbags free across later if Civic FL pressure them too much? Lol |

QUOTE(Razif7870 @ Dec 4 2014, 12:14 PM) Here you go.. This is interesting Bro. After google orange peel images, I realised mine also had similar, mainly side panels which are quite obvious... hmmm...Please reply to customersupport@toyota.com.my Update on paint issue (Orange Peel). Was contacted yesterday from HQ personnel. At first, They were shock and said I am the first person to complaint about the paint defect. They later assigned me to the Subang SC for further inspections. Was contacted by the Subang Service Advisor later in the evening, So I Went there after work. Upon arrival, He even told that this is a first. Took pictures and will bring down the in charge HQ personnels for 2nd on site checks and give solutions. The solution will be re-paint of the Car. Will follow up with them by tomorrow. |

One SA said altis facelift is due next year.... not sure how true of cos.
Frankly, I won't be getting altis now if I haven't got one. There are so many other newer choices... Hrv Mazda3 or even city v.. not to mention the impressive looking 2016 civic ! |
