Buy Wii first then PS3 (maybe like 2008) when price is drop... the reason is already got xbox360 and bought LCD TV without HDMI so dont care much with PS3 furthermore most of their xclusive title microsoft already "rasuah" them heheheh ..unless kena loteri maybe or have to wait till 2008

Wii, then ps3 maybe. Hopefully the price will drop alot after the first year. First 6 months it should drop alot right?

Never say never.....remember Dreamcast GD ROMS that held more than 1GB of data....they managed to compress it all into a CD Plus I'm sure most of the 1st gen PS3 games will still be using DVD as the main media as it's cheaper, and I don't really see many games that'll require more than 8GB of space (dual layer DVD). It'll be a while till we see a game that requires the full capacity of a Blu Ray.

Anyhoots, on topic I'll definitely go for Wii 1st. Why?

1) Economy is bad PS3 will probably cost RM3K, and games probably around RM300. Wii will probably cost half of that, a good thing in my book.

2) Games. Right now I don't really see anything on the PS3 that tickles my fancy. I've grown tired of the FF and MGS series, so there's no real pull for me. Wii on the other hand, has some very interesting titles, including the launch title Zelda, and soon after that, Super Smash Bros, Mario and Metroid. Lovely.

Remember PS2 launch games? The only game that uses DVD-ROM at launch is Kessen, while all the other launch games still using CD-ROM.

Making use of online content (bill gate intend to join xbox player and pc in using MsLive feature build into Vista). Imagine whatever game you brought in both platform, everyone play in one big portal (aka steam+skpe+msg+xfire)

Wii - Fun factor alway with nintendo

PS3- lot supporter due to earlier success. but they seems lost focus with psp and ps3 compare to the other. and they alway try to secure the media format like bluray, memory stick, umd... they done that in their pda, camera, psp, laptop etc...darn I.P fee begger

Btw, though i luv my ps2, the preview ps3 make me felt it's only a ps2 with better hardware. no new inovation or extra "ump" unlike the other 2.

Probabily i will go for wii, as my pc match wat xbox360 can provide me. of course my NDS:lite too as protable

Xbox360 bring online content into living room. They do this in PC but xbox360 let those whom no pc savy able to enjoy this feature very easily.

wii have diffrent approach in using controller.

What is the dif between ps1, ps2 and Ps3 other then improve due to better hardwar like in graphic and more complicated AI algorithm (but then ps2 AI is far behind's PC AI)?

But i think their biggest mistake is delay in delivery of the system to market. It will be worst if ps3 is delay to after wii launch.

Erk,doesnt the ps3 bring online content as well?free online play,and internet browser are nice touches,even though the graphics are still twitchy and laggy compared to the 360,one day it wil be as good or better than 360.

For some reason im currently more interested in the wii more than the other 2.Maybe its because the wiimote,or the gameplay,or simply because its small,and i wouldnt have to worry if it looks like crap because my tv has enough power to produce 480p or even 720p.For ps3 though,im really curious to see what 1080p looks like,but they say that a TV below 60" u wouldnt be able to see the difference between 1080i and 1080p.Maybe just minor differences,The 360 on the other hand is collecting dust,being a region locked console,im not able to play most of the new games that interests me now.And having my LIVE expired,i wouldnt wanna spend 200+ bucks for a year of online play as im currently pokai.So the 360 is currently our upscaling dvd player (poor,poor,360).

With the Wii,i would be able to play games like never before,with graphics abit nicer than the previous Xbox but lower than the 2 next gen ones(which isnt a problem),i could play games with my friends in a much funner,(i could lose weight?)exciting way.With expected free Online play and Opera web browser(go opera!),its one heck of a console.I could even hook up my Nintendo DS via wifi and send files or maybe play my games on the TV.NDS games of course.And with a nintendo DS lite that my bro in law bought yesterday in japan (god come back quick,i wanna touch!),it'll accompany the wii's design.Beautiful Design.

With the PS3,it will serve as a Game console,media centre and computer( ).Checking my mails before playing with 32 people in Warhawk accompanied with free online service would have never been easier.I can play with 6 of my friends with the 7 controller support and rip CD's and Movies in the console.I'll watch Blu-Ray movies and even use my PSP to help me in some games.Maybe Even send files(like Wii).

In the 360 though.I play games with awesome graphics and even download demos or stuff at the marketplace.I will also pay 85 bucks every 3 months for online games.

All 3 have its pros and cons.

Thats all i have to say.

This is what make me furious, when I talk to my friends about 360, they will bash it because of the region lock. The way they say it is like Xbox 360 is the first console to have enforce region lock system.

It's not surprising since they only played pirated games before on their modded PS1 and PS2 and don't know that region lock exist on their console as well. Hate region lock? Blame Nintendo for starting them.

For me, I don't care if Xbox 360 is region locked. Most Japanese / US game will be available in Asia version, and Asia's game are about USD 20 cheaper than US / Japanese game, which is a plus for me.

Don't get me wrong, I'll get both Wii and PS3 when there are games that I want to play available on those consoles. Region free on PS3 is a plus, though I'll most probably buy Asian games (cheaper price) than US / Japanese games.
