Just because Nintendo came up with the region lock to actually
curb bootlegs, they shouldn't really be blamed for "creating" region lock. In their history, Nintendo was never really strict on imports. AFAIK, all their cartridge-based systems (N64 and before) were region free. Heck, when Datel wanted to open the region locking of the Gamecube with their Action Replay, Nintendo allowed them.

The GC was the only console in the last gen that was truly region free

ps3's contoller is similiar to wii's but not as good/sensitive.
ps3 doesnt have vibration
360 is the same as xbox
I don't think PS3's controller is even close to being "similar" to the Wii. There is quite some difference between motion-sensing on the Wiimote, and the tilt-sensing on the PS3 controller. The PS3 controller is most similar to the PS2 controller

The only difference is the addition of tilt, and the removal of vibration
The 360 controller may seem like the same with the xbox, but for one major difference: the guide button. Ok, it's just one additional button, but it's the most important button in the whole 360 experience, as it opens up so many options while you are playing, whether it be playing music, chatting with friends, messaging, changing your settings.....I can't really explain, but I think fellow 360 owners will understand what I'm trying to say.
From the outside, yeah, the 360 is the same as xbox. But in the interface, the software, the interaction.....the 360 is totally a new experience compared to the xbox
