QUOTE(zenix @ Feb 26 2015, 11:12 AM) Updated some blog entries today based on the replies here, most of them have been updated with new info as well. http://cartcss.blogspot.com/2015/02/thinki...rs-in-2015.htmlyou're welcomed! updated some stuff for my blog post of your question http://cartcss.blogspot.com/2015/02/compac...is-new-and.htmlNaza Ria and Naza Citra both would be in your price range and year range. They're both MPV, Ria is based on a van chassis and is bigger. Citra I feel has better equipment levels. But both are quite notorious for bad fuel consumption. It is a good car for the price. Yes, it isn't as spacious as C-segment cars in 2015, isn't as fuel saving/environmentally friendly as cars today, etc. But when it comes down to it.....for that price and you're in a pinch I think it is a whole lot better than considering Toyota SEG/Honda Civic from the 90's. You're welcome! After writting something so long I thought I just post it in my blog anyway as this question do come up quite often. http://cartcss.blogspot.com/2015/02/budget-50k-in-2015.htmlThanks, with this im more confident in taking that car.. Much appreciated

QUOTE(zenix @ Feb 18 2015, 10:47 AM) i've never bought any car from either TM or MUV, however they seem sincere about giving you better quality used cars. they put it B&W everywhere got what limited and criteria of cars they accept to trade-in and sell. so maybe with that kind of guarantee you can say they'll be better than outside dealers that accept anything and of course dunno if they lie to you or not, if they do got no B&W to backup. besides nissan and toyota are behind these two so should be decent. though i think the best is to go and survey their stockyard now and then, make friends with the SA, if they're friendly and helpful enough they'll point you to the best deals as all cars there are not equal eventhough they may look equal at first glance there are other things to take account for other than just a clean tidy exterior and interior like service manual to indicate it has been serviced regularly and on time, any accident case, the mileage, flood case, etc. the typical SA will of course try to clear his stockyard asap no matter what, but if you able to tenderize his heart he'll probably intro you the fresh stock which usually is better than something sitting there for 3 months nobody wanna buy thanks for the sharing Zenix. also I am wondering - when searching through the internet (eg. carlist, oto), seller always state "100% Accident Free - Guarantee". but how can seller guarantee the used car was never involved in accident beside checking the insurance claim record? that is possible that the car might involved in accident & owner fork out own money to fix it

Hi guys, im getting my first car and never been so clueless in choosing something.
It needs to be new and <RM60k. I'm fully aware that you can only get a local car with that budget for new and currently eyeing for the MyVi SE, and the only upgrade from SE to Advance is the full parking assitance and leather seat. I'd love to have the leather seat but does not really need the parking assitance. Also I'd prefer to drive a manual, but so many people around me against the idea if I want to drive in the traffic in KL..
1. Brand: Any 2. Budget: RM55k if possible, RM60k max 3. New/Used/Unreg. New 4. Specs: 5. Transmission. I'd prefer manual but people been telling me driving a stick in KL would be hell..
7. Type: Any would do, 8. Remarks: First car, and a fresh grad still looking for jobs.

Not original colour. If the car has been repainted, then be alert.

You will have to check it physically yourselves. If you dont know how, get someone who does, either a friend or your trusted mechanic.
