I had down brake pedal to adjust higher at Setapak Genting Klang SC. Brake now used less energy to press for stop compared without adjust need step very deep to stop. If still not good to you changed brake pad but adjust already i think is good to drive smile.gif

well subang, damansara, puchong are the best locations to begin, all highways, lesser uphills and lubang depending on location cause all have MRT constructions. if want virtually none of these, PJ area is okay

What was the specific instruction you gave them to adjust the brake paddle ? I asked my SC here at Kulai in the past (during warranty period, now expired), but they replied said cannot adjust anything rclxub.gif

1st service in other SC i told them to adjust the brake pedal to higher but they give many excuses. Ytd i went to another SC which is located in Setapak, i told them the same thing "adjust brake pedal to higher", yes they done it and understood. This means is subject to the willingness of the SC. Change a better service area bro smile.gif

2nd hand value good? This new Alza gearbox i think is ok after MK 1 problem, very smooth and better NVH. Silverstone M5 now is the biggest issue, noisy and noob grip. Thanks man, rattling sound is coming from 3rd row more day by day lol sweat.gif

Makes no difference… 3+2 is basically 3 years from Perodua, 2 years from insurance… If you know of VW's 2+3 years warranty, this is the same shit… Don't bother extending it...

We all heard the VW extended warranty, why pay insurance for the 2 years warranty.. but a gain your choice.

All cars depreciates, except some 'special' car. When you want to sell the car, make sure you check with the bank first, to see the settlement amount. Compare with the market price, if worth it and wanna sell, then okay lor. You will be lucky no need to fock out extra when selling.

The rattling sound, is it like a knocking sound of steel? if yes, you check out the 2nd row seat belt, it actually knocking the C pillar. It happens when our 2nd row seats move back further and the 'seat belt anchor' was pushed near to the C pillar, so the knocking is there.

If not, try 'explain' on what rattling you mean?

aiseh no way to avoid not forking out or avoiding some major problems on the alza, did you manage to soften the blow on your pocket by taking any counter measures? (im sure u will say that you sold of and bought the jazz laugh.gif )

ah that sounds right, i counted 62k+16k(interest) after 4 years current 35k. so that means only worth half, absolutely sure rugi as i only paid the bank 30+k only

35k is very low I think... but again, we can't expect much.

Alza is at the 60k range of price. for some, sound cheap, some said affordable, to some it is expensive.
We hope all of us don't have major issue with the car we own. Minor issue + wear n tear.. is expected.
Parts are not very expensive though.

Also to add about the extended warranty, if I gonna take that, means that I have to go back to the SC for all the maintenance.. it cost lots more compared to the places I go now.. this cannot do that cannot do, else void.. yet paying the insurance. Of course, if something big happen, then you are covered. I still dont get the buy in.

Also to read the 'fine print' on the extended warranty.. what it is covered and what not. We must learn from the painful experience that VW customer face. In the biz world, there is no free lunch.

fellas, for the Alza facelift, do you observe that the air cond water dripping on the steering rack? in other word, the drain hose wasn't extended to get the air cond condensate to drip on other place than the steering rack. I just took the new car for my dad and found out this. I'm kinda concern on the long term effect on the water dripping and the rusting. I'll go to feedback to SC during my 1st service and see what they says. The car is just 3 days on the road, so far everything OK albeit i heard some ticking noise intermittent, too rare to happen that i able to nail it down.

Extended warranty covers very little. Usually only Engine and gearbox. Everything else, you pikir lah sendiri...which is why i will rather not take it.

the EWP policy will spell out what is covered and what's not, with the track record of perodua parts quality, i believe EWP wasn't anything that is worthy to buy. But it's useful on proton cars.

go get it fixed, it is perodua's fault as mention in paul tan's blog that there have been a mistake on the condensor piping that is causing leaks that drips onto the steering rack/pillar causing rust. google your problem as google is the sifu that can solve most of it. rclxms.gif hhahaa
