Thank Miaovin, any recommend update for my alza? the SA will give me some tint voucher, hear that is solar brand,  is this brand ok? how the quality ? i saw the first page mention about the stable bar, does the bar help a lot?

recommended upgrades for ALZA: (by order of importance)

1. change your tyre if the batch you are getting is the sliverstone model, i've seen some dealers having bridgestone so im not sure. please change to bridgestone/yokohama/michellin it SAVES LIFES as the standard sliverstone are just pasar malam grades.

2. if you think the suspension is soft, add the spring buffers, please refer to main page/ first post on who the seller is and how much. (not mistaken rm70 for alza, 4pcs)

3. i dont think you can upgrade your tint as the tint that comes with the latest perodua has a warranty, so re-tint will void that warranty (5yrs). please consult with HQ agent.

4. only now consider if you want a more stabilized car, adding the front bar (rm150, ultra racing) will improve handling by a fair bit, PROVIDED the tires are changed first to a better brand. if it is still sliverstone, you will just waste your money.

5. better brake pads, inside the thread somewhere its mention BENDIX titanium metal king, if not mistaken is a good upgrade.

6. adjusting the kick back cable is also a viable solution for better power

7. changing spark plugs to iridium 4 head plug later on will provide better value for money and better fuel comsumption

8. after you have consider all, then only waste your money on ICE, stickers, misc add ons

hope this helps whistling.gif

well no problem, glad to assist flex.gif

well ICE is speakers/dvd player touch screen/ gps

alza tint has most of jpj compliance rules with uv 99% and ir 80% sort of with 5mil security tint. So unless ur gonna invest more than rm500 on tint, i suggest use what they give you first and keep the money for something more important. thumbup.gif

kick down cable better get a foreman/local mechanic to help you adjust, later adjust salah susah nia. nod.gif

tint voucher means nothing if the price is jacked up/ increased to cover the voucher cost + commision. (you get a item of less value) My personal opinion, use it first then in a year or so when u get your bonus, and feel it its not enough, then get a better tint. Llumar / Huper optik / vkool.

any engine moddification will void the warranty. however any engine adjustment on the stock items are acceptable.
Example: lights / cable tightness adjustments( brake / throttle / kick back)

but as an item, it does work, however...... because my brother who works with clearwater professional gt/super car racing team. he said that most products here that are Voltage Stabilizers are fake. the real PIVOT is very very expensive. cost wise/ seriously no point, imagine paying close to rm800-1000 for the real original japan spec PIVOT just to save some FC and get lesser engine jerk. well not necessary.

opinions are opinions however. its all in the mind brows.gif placebo effect

Hi Alza owner,

Anybody install spring buffer before? can share you experience here? and who interested in installing spring buffer?

Based on the main page recommended seller. We can order tgt and install tgt. Price is RM 90 included postage. I saw the main benefit is absorb harshness and less bumpy. As what i drive this car for 3 months, this car is bumpy in kampung road and highway. Passenger and driver not syok. KL to Gua musang road, terrible bumpy like inside boat.

what do you mean by together? got group discount? well i know i can assemble it at my home cause i have all the tools i need, but kereta belum sampai. as to if the product is good or not, well i havent read in V3 of a experience mainly of my concern of lifespan. the price is not expensive as to oppose to void warranty and buy sport springs. but if the lifespan is short, then kinda no point also.

so anyone has used this items before? has it ever gone over the lifespan of the shocks absorbers? rclxub.gif

I'm not sure whether the bulk purchase is valid till now because i saw it in https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2026334 what i scanned through the comment is good, can reduce lifespan of absorber and this buffer can last 2 years. You drive alza before whichever batch? Damn this car is bumpy at 100kmh in kampung road..need bounce few times before it is stable lol.

yup i guess so, need a couple of test drives to get it right for you as there is no true way to adjust it. totaly user preferences.

i guess if means that is you increase lifespan, it will still be kinda more bumpy in a hard way cause the springs are stiffer with the buffers, but if softer springs, more body roll, but less feel on pot holes and bumps.

Hi all Alza users, my wife car Alza Advance is approaching 4 full years come June.

Over the past 4 years Alza had been a great car for the family but there is one thing that I dislike a lot, which is the brake paddle. Often I have to apply more strength to make the car stop, and the brake's travel distance is too long to my liking.

I am wonder any of you have any idea or can recommend some tweak to reduce the braking travel distance to something like 30% of the original travel distance ?
