Hi, mind to share your ride recently?
*
Recently my alza doing about the same. Only fuel consumption is around 9.6L/100km, it wont drop further. Full KL city drive.
Done 1st service before CNY too.

I dunno by changing the tyres to 195 55 R15 will affect the consumption reading or not. Is my fuel cons too high?

Do you reset your meter every time while fueling. Your alza mileage how many km....mine normally around 7.5 to 8.8 l/100km. But my daily drive 50/50 hiway and city. Normally full tank can last 420km before blinking with range around 130km and i've few times driving until range meter become ---- ha ha

195/55/15 fuel consumption not much different..more less the same

Test driven the New Alza, has much better nvh compared to my current Preve CVT.

Engine much quieter and feels the acceleration is also quicker.

Any idea if proton offers the door comfort package also?

would like to share my fc during CNY holiday tongue.gif
average journey TRG - KL is 5~6 hours

1. from cheras,KL - Kuala Berang, Terengganu
max speed 130km/h, avg speed 120km/h, jammed, 10hrs

2. from kuala terengganu - cheras,KL

what i can say is,

when speed at 80km/h == ~4.5 - 5L/100km
when speed at 100km/h == ~6L/100km
when speed at 120km/h == ~7L/100km

You only first service ah.. I today just did second service (5k)
FC is slightly less than 9l/100km, which is about 15% better than @ 1st service (1k). Will try long distance for the first time this coming week.
I myself using 195 55 15 from the first day, hopefully can last 600+km per tank as some bros here quote..

Long distance drive better put a bit high tyre pressure to slow down tyre heat build up. Normally i pump 235kpa @ 34psi

Agree with you tongue.gif local car always leaves room for driver "creativity" to make improvement. hahahaha

By the way, any one can recommend where to buy PCV Oil Catch Cans? So far i watched video review all recommended it works as it will help reduce grease inside the air champer.
*
i think any acccessories shop would have. is PCV that cause the grease build up in the air chamber? i was thinking about the main culprit could be the breather hose (the shorter ones from cam cover to the throttle body). what i mean is the breather hose could be the main reason rather than the PCV. just my 2 cents though.

The service center Customer service recommended to use iridium spark plug @ rm180 a pop. Is it worth it?
He said can last 100,000km.

2. front brake disc (TRW) - due to warp disc.

Longer plug change interval, other than that not so significant benefit
