Hi all, looking to tint for front wind screen and both front windows for VW Golf.

Which should I go for? 3M or Raytech? Anyone tried Vanto and Totalgard before?

Below are some quotes I received:
Vanto :
Vision (IRR 90%) - RM650
Dynamic (IRR 97%) - RM950

Raytech :
CV80 (IRR 85%) - RM800
CV90 (IRR 95%) - RM1150

3M :
Ceramic IR - RM1200

if u has a budget, 3M it is. if u wanna some best bang for money, considering the spec (IRR%, TSER%), the local brand of Totalgard is great for me.

IMO, the gold standard is VKool Serendipity aka VKool Elite but the pricing is also the gold standard that many cannot afford.

Reviving the thread a bit yea..
Wanna ask if anyone got experience with Haverkamp tint?
I thinking of applying it for my car..
If there's a comparison to 3M, Llumar, VKool will be much appreciated

I not sure if its dead or not la haha.. Cuz I had it on my prev car, and I find it quite nice + easy on the eyes.. So I thought to try it again.

I got offered RM3800 for the MT50 for a D Segment SUV.

Got to post an honest review on @dog999 service. Can vouch for his service on the following:-

1) 3M Tint
Confirmed cheaper, at least from the same shop as I so happened did check out the shop before. I didn't compare to other 3M authorised dealer though, so I can only vouch for the same shop, which is cheaper.

2) Ceramic Pro Tint
Confirmed cheaper, but I'm pissed with the brand/ service for various reasons, but not the fault of @dog999 so if you still considering this tint or maybe other tint, can consider his service.

Read few negative reviews on 3M tint here, so here's my thoughts.

- the shop I went was professional, and really nice people, workmanship so far ok but I'm still waiting for the film to cure. There was one less experience staff working on part of my tint, but I don't mind as everyone needs to learn, so fine with it. Lady boss (I don't know her name) is nice, gave me a free gift.
- shop opened a very small cut for my smart tag (it works), and the RFID works well too (not affected by the film)
- I honestly can't tell if the film is genuine, as there are just too many fakes, but I can say, the shop is popular from review and I received all those certs etc, so I hope all is good. If I were to choose 3M again, I'll go back to this shop.
- I'm fine with the temperature after installation, I can't compare to Vkool as I've not installed one before. Still some slight heat with 3M, think maybe slightly more heat than my Llumar Diamond 6 which is 8 years old, but I'm ok with 3M though.

I used that Totalgard tint at my wife car, a local car, x70. Reason bought is due to spec offered, IRR, TSER and proven on meter not just saying only. And most due to price offered at rm1k and warranty covered for degradation if happen.

For 3 months using it, it performs quite well. Not feel hot at all during noon time.

But I reserved my review to check if it performs well on 2nd & 3rd year of usage.

still great for heat rejection, smart tag still not function on this tint, so maybe IRR rejection still work great
