QUOTE(ayamxxx @ Oct 8 2021, 10:57 AM) he said basic. so if TSER need to explain more True. But I think it's best to tell them just go for higher TSER if you want heat rejection. That's the only measurement to look at which has been summarised if they don't want to look at how the TSER is derived from.

QUOTE(ltpg @ Oct 8 2021, 09:22 PM) Wonder worth getting the 3m tint.... unless open window n wave smarttag outside My car is using 3M. This dotted part of the windscreen (photo from internet) is not covered because the film will not be able to stick well and may affect the rest (according to the installer). So I just place my smart tag there when passing toll booth.

QUOTE(jagadis @ Oct 11 2021, 11:25 AM) There's one shop along old klang road Thanks. The old klang road and kepong shop are the same chain “tint shop”. Just wondering why the vkool malaysia website only shows 2 locations with “nvk interior” as the chain name

NVK Interior 68G, Wisma PK 1, Jalan Loke Yew NVK Interior is the distributor for VKool in Malaysia. Look for Alex Chin. got some great tinting deals from dog999 about a month ago. I went for the 3M Crystalline series but can still feel the heat of the super hot sun these days if follow JPJ standards for the front windscreen (not saying that 3M tints are bad I think they might be one of the best already). but laws are laws if scare saman must bare with the heat; if scare the heat must bare with the risk of getting bagua

But if follow the jpj spec, it will yield lesser TSER, hence u might feel the sun heat etc. Next maybe find tint with higher tser value but has low VLT

Hi all, Just received my Proton X50 Flagship and want to get tint. After doing research, I narrowed down to 3M Crystalline and Llumar Pinnacle or P4-35 series. Any advice? Leaning towards 3M CR because skeptical about Llumar's 10Y warranty + claim to pay JPJ summon but higher asking price.
I received quote around RM3k for 3M CR with "made in USA tint" for sunroof. Is it normal to use different tint for windows/windscreen and the sunroof?
Thank you!

Hi guys. Just wondering how important is it to get security tint? Currently considering between 3M CR series vs SCR. Anyone can recommend 3M shop around KV?
