eitherway dharma123, you're not creating money out of thin air. there's a collateral for it, which is your electricity. either you pay your electricity bill or someone else paying it is a separate thing.

mining will always be profitable as long as the profit it higher than the electricity bill. just that, if the profit is lesser than 20% per annum, time to invest your money elsewhere then.

You transfer 5 btc to where? I transfer cash from Mt Gox to local bank, not btc.

cashed out 5 btc to USD in mtgox. then from USD transfer to my RHB bank.

It doesn't look there is any problems getting funds out of gox based on the discussion on bitcoin forums though, so if I were you I'd be worried.
