even also using usb eruptor?
*
usb eruptor is ok, bitcoin mining is profitable only on ASIC miners now. But usb eruptor is running like 330MH/s, bitcoin's generation is slow because of the crazy difficulty spike. The arms race is the one causing this sillyness, crazy people keep putting higher and higher hashing machines and put the stakes even higher, padahal bitcoin's difficulty spike according to the total computational power. Total bitcoin's generation is still around the same per time frame, the only thing bigger hash machine's advantage is to take the higher percentage pie for the bitcoins, which is useless anyways since other people will pay so much to put in another faster machine.

For GPU mining better go find those coins that don't have ASIC hardware miners and dominated by GPU minings.

sigh, cryptsy is so slow in confirming my dogecoin deposit, ended up unable to sell my dogecoin at 200 satoshi each. Just sold it for 150 satoshi and now it's at 120 satoshi, it'll keep on dropping until value stabilizes with other alt coins...

But still happy lar, managed to earn something worth 70-80 ringgit worth of digital money out of 2 weeks mining with laptop cpu hahhah

would love to mine dogecoin but I don't understand how to execute those cmd using cpu/gpu miner. any help?

btw dual core in build graphic card boleh pakai a?
*
Can, depends on what kind of graphics card. If:
Nvidia / Geforce = use cudaminer
AMD/Radeon = use cgminer
Intel HD4000 and above = use cgminer
else on CPU = pooler/cpuminer (minerd.exe)

The steps you need to take to mine:
1) Download and install dogecoin wallet, then get your dogecoin address for receiving coins.
2) Download and unzip either cudaminer/cgminer/cpuminer
3) Register on a pool such as http://doge.pool.webxass.de/index.php
4) Set up a new worker on the pool with unique worker id and password
5) set up the cudaminer/cgminer/cpuminer parameters to mine, for cudaminer and cpuminer you need additional stratum proxy software.

If Bitcoins is Ponzi, then buying stocks from Apple and Microsoft is Ponzi too.

How can bitcoin be Ponzi when not a single person/organization is getting any money since miners get the currency in exchange of electricity?

QUOTE
A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investment operation that pays returns to its investors from existing capital or new capital paid by new investors, rather than from profit earned by the individual or organization running the operation

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ponzi_scheme
A Ponzi scheme operates by someone/some organization(scammer) controlling the capital, bitcoin's capital aren't controlled by anybody.

can do tutorial how to get started?

Nah https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=7722.0
This is the guide for mining litecoins which is the second most popular alternate coin after bitcoin (and can be mined using GPU). Litecoin can be mined using CPU but it's too slow and you can't compete with other users with big GPU farms. If you have at least a single HD7870 then you be okay with earning little profits.

If you only have CPUs to play with then go with CPU based cryptocurrency like Quark, Secondcoin, Primecoin etc

hi mind to ask how to create wallet for that primecoin, just use the primecoin walllet software?  rclxub.gif
*
Yupp, you can install and run the Primecoin application and you will get a unique address for your wallet under "Receive" tab. But if it can't sync then you need to fiddle around the Primecoin.conf file. Few days ago I encountered syncing problems with Primecoin.

For Litecoin wallet you can just download, install and it will sync no problem.

is it the same step or way to mine bitcoin as well?
*
Yupp, but cgminer will have different parameters. Bitcoin is using SHA256 while Litecoin is using scrypt.

By the way you should be informed that people don't mine bitcoin using CPU & GPU anymore. You'll pay more for electricity than earning back the money on bitcoin, this is because that people are mining bitcoin using specialized hardware aka ASIC miners. ASIC miners can only mine bitcoin and do nothing else, it's very fast compared to CPU & GPU and very expensive too... A decent unit costs around RM15k and the amount of bitcoins you earn diminishes fast from the difficulty hike (too many people compete for bitcoins).

For average joe with CPU & GPU, go for scrypt based cryptocurrency like Litecoin, Dogecoin, etc. If CPU only go for CPU based cryptocurrency like Primecoin, Secondcoin and Quark. These coins can be exchanged to bitcoin anyways.

what are u using now?
*
Bitcoin for trading/buying stuffs. My second main coin is Dogecoin which I invest in, third I mine Primecoin on CPU (selling this for bitcoin then I buy Dogecoin using bitcoin). I sometimes trade dogecoin for steam games on reddit. I mine litecoin if there's some problem on dogecoin, for example the blockchain fork that happened few days ago.

is blockchain fork is like bottle necking?
*
No, it means there are two separate ledgers(blockchain) running at the same time, one is the correct one and another is the wrong one. Usually the wrong one is running on the old version of the wallet. To fix the problem just install the new wallet and if you updated on the wrong blockchain, you simply delete the blockchain data on your computer and run the new version of wallet to redownload the correct blockchain.

then can u get back your old amount ?
*
Yupp, as long as you keep the wallet.dat file or make a backup of the file. This is the private key used to access your coins in the blockchain.

If you deleted the wallet.dat file and don't have any backup, then your coin is lost forever.

nice.

so far how much u earn in malaysian ringgit for lite coin and e currency?
*
little only, just started for few weeks. I got like around RM180 equivalent like that, but the value is not constant because the price of cryptocurrency always change just like stock market. But I'm holding Dogecoins for sometime, it's value got high chance to go up in the next few months to end of the year. Now it's value is at the bottom.
