I wouldn't recommend Mtgox

Expect many months delay to see your money if you sell your coin there.

There are also risk of confiscation from US government and shut down for Mtgox. Japan(where MTgox is based), after all, is a puppet of US.
EDIT: Forgot to add, my 8% fee is based on bitstamp price.

My transfer took 2 1/2 weeks in total. There is no reason why the funds would be confiscated by the US government for a transfer from Japan to Malaysia.

You transfer 5 btc to where? I transfer cash from Mt Gox to local bank, not btc.

it's ok. just want to know whether it's recent than mine or not.

It doesn't look there is any problems getting funds out of gox based on the discussion on bitcoin forums though, so if I were you I'd be worried.

well there are problems. i dont know how u manage to cash out those monies less than 1 month. but for me and most of those people in here:

http://www.reddit.com/r/mtgox
http://www.reddit.com/r/bitcoin
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=8.0

people are complaining not getting their money for over 1 month. some span up to 4 months lol.
*
That's the problem they have with US banks. That's why I never withdrew to my US acc.

GPU to mine BTC will never have ROI.

No one believes it. I think someone was claiming USD10 a day recently. I guess greed overruled sound judgement.

Read again, "GPU mining BTC will never get ROI" is different from "GPU mining LTC will get ROI"

Getting USD10 a day isn't hard for GPU, just that the market crashed and we're getting half of what we've been getting last month.

Whatever floats your boat I'm more than happy that people are mining BTC LTC DogC with their hardware and electricity bill so that my transactions go through.

either go through exchanges or people like mumei above

you can try exchanges too like bitstamp, btce or China ones like huobi or okcoin

here's the live chart of some exchanges

Haha. My money and coins are stuck in Mtgox now =(. But no worries, hopefully more local people will sell to me. I'm glad the scene is picking up in Malaysia

lol i thought u exchanged all into fiat before cny
did you buy any from gox when price crashed hard? if reopen, untung mang

best of luck to you
*
No I mentioned that I didn't have a problem withdrawing, which was true until the latest saga. Then I predicted a crash so I sold all my coins. It dipped slightly before Mtgox suspended all withdrawals dues to the vulnerably in protocol. Of course by this time I also can't withdraw any cash from Mtgox. I've since converted the cash back to coins when it dipped below 200, but we'll see if Mtgox gets things straight and not just disappear with all the cash & coins.

no one said about withdrawing out from gox.

You mean buy over the suspended account? I traded using another platform before gox. Can't remember the name now. It got hack shortly after I started and the guy took a looooong while to refund everyone. I sold my account to someone who never paid me in the end. Luckily at that time I only have a few hundred USD in there. But I don't feel like being scammed twice.
