QUOTE(Jaroque @ Dec 13 2013, 12:28 PM) Oh because the ATI cards give me more value for money based on performance rather than Nvidia... i'd have to get GT640 for the price range of 7750 and i feel like wasted unless the CUda cores from N-vidia will really give me noticeable performance in my work ><" SO only ProCC has it? i dun think mine is premier CC..its likle premier 5.5... =( well AMD does have very strong cards on the low to midrange market for quite a while now QUOTE(IMTHEDESTROYER @ Dec 13 2013, 02:58 PM) wait, but howcome after effects doesnt support ATI cards? Lol no idea, this one have to ask Adobe for answershttp://www.adobe.com/products/aftereffects/tech-specs.html sorry to jump in so sudden.i'm interested to know since i am using adobe premier. |

Dear Sifus,
Can help to recommend for the mobo, ssd and ram for my rig? Thanks in advance.. CPU : i5 4670K (confirm) CPU Cooler : H80i (confirm) PSU: CM GX 550W (confirm) MB : CF + OC support must SSD : not decided (120gb) RAM : not decided (8 gb) GPU : R290 (confirm) It's my first time trying to do serious OC so i guess entry level to mid range mobo? SSD - Reliable (higher/faster data transfer would be secondary) I'm hoping not to spend over 2.5k for MB, SSD, RAM, GPU. But i'm trying to future proof the build so suggestions slightly higher than the budget is ok. Only gonna be used for gaming primarily. Appreciate any help offered |

Why don't you take Thermaltake Water 2.0 Pro? or maybe NZXT Kraken? or a traditional high end air cooling? Like the NH-D14 or the Phanteks PH-TC14PE? For a serious OC board... Take a look at this picture here: http://sinhardware.com/images/vrmlist.png SSD... Take a look at Samsung's 840 EVO 128GB for RM360 Any Value 1600MHz RAMs should do the trick. |

hi sifus, I plan to get a gaming rig which can last about another 3-5 years. if possible, must be able to play games in high settings. (ultra settings for bf4)
CPU: Intel Core I5 4570 MOBO: ASUS B85M-G RAM: 8gb ddr3 1600mhz HDD: 1tb hhd Chasis: CM K350 Casing PSU: FSP HEXA 500W PSU ODD: dvdrw GPU: R9 270x or GTX760(prefer gtx760 if meet budget) my budget is rm2500. refer to the spec above, is rm2500 enough or I have to top up? or do u have better suggestions? this budget does not include lcd, speaker, etc. I have them already. Thanks in advance! =D |

hi, this seems a weird question, a friend of mine got a bit of money to be wasted
he don't gaming much as far as I know, maybe light racing games such as need for speed, dirt, etc. no high end fps games as he'll get dizzy playing those games. so, a nice red coloured GPU and mobo maybe a must for him. I've been browsing around, cheapest I saw are MSI N660 gaming GPU and MSI B85M-G43. or, is there any lower priced GPU with some red coloured? oh, and casing, he likes something like NZXT source. anything with windows and simple crafty looking will do. also, how about rams? I know everything 'gaming' are more to marketing gimmicks with slight or non performance improving at all, but he insisted This post has been edited by wuwah: Dec 14 2013, 08:52 PM |

Likewise, most of the time people will pick up the latter because it will look better with their set up.he don't gaming much as far as I know, maybe light racing games such as need for speed, dirt, etc. no high end fps games as he'll get dizzy playing those games. so, a nice red coloured GPU and mobo maybe a must for him. I am still wondering to either sell my laptop and get a desktop or just stay with my laptop, I am just a 15 year old btw.
Would also want to know what rig i could get if i were to sell it and top up cash. [Budget]Around 2.7k ( including monitor, speaker and keyboard ) [Purpose] Gaming , Casual internet ( going on Facebook, watching movies ) [Hardwares that will be re-use] Mouse , Mousepad [Monitor resolution] Would prefer 1080p [Games & softwares that use frequently] LoL, Battlefield 3, random games. [Personal preferences] SSD for fast bootup + HDD for storage, Intel CPU. [Location]USJ Subang. Also please tell me if it's better to stick or just change, because my laptop is still doing good |
