Sifus, as I have mentioned earlier, my gonna-be rig consists of:
Intel Core i5 4440
Asus B85M-E
Kingston Value Ram 2 X 4Gb DDR3 1600MHz
Asus R9 290
Cooler Master GX 650W
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM

I wanted to change the psu, but I too fast confirm wiv the shop already. so, is it ok if I use this psu with my mentioned rig?

Thanks for the recommendation
is it ok if i have this build but switch the CPU to i7 or xeon? Cause I am looking for multi thread to have faster rendering in 3d softwares, or is it redundant? im quite not that knowledgeable in this field.

Yes u can, I would suggest getting the xeon since u have a discrete card so don't need the onboard gpu and it's price cheaper smile.gif

Dear Sifus,

I've been thinkin to upgrade my current PC, therefore i need some suggestion;

(My Current Rig):
Intel Core i5 2500k 3.3GHz
MSI P67A-GD55
2x 2GB Kingston D3 1333
1TB Samsung HD
MSI GTX 460 cyclone
500W Silverstone sst-st50f-es
LG 23" Monitor E2350T (1920x1080)

1) My budget is around 1k only, so i really need some suggestion on which item should i replace/upgrade first within budget,
2) My main purpose of upgrading is for Gaming (BF4, GTA, CRYSIS,....). Im not targeting for SUPER ULTRA graphic but can goes to HIGH setting also good enough,
3) Any brand can do,
4) I also tend to upgrade more in the future from time to time.

Thanks for help~ blush.gif

Consider the Sapphire R9 280X Dual-X... RM1099 je... brows.gif
You may need to sell off the GPU and the PSU, and get a better PSU, like the Super Flower Golden Green HX 600W for RM299, or the Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 550W for the same price...

An extra 4GB RAM also helps nicely as well... icon_idea.gif

rendering will require more processing power on the CPU and also more RAM.. the GPU will help only if you have programs that utilizes the features it provides (e.g Cuda cores from Nvidia), so choose your GPu based on that... other than that, the HD7770 is slightly faster tongue.gif

looks to be alright, you can still drop the SSD if you wanna save up as it's optional but other than that, nothing much to change already...

maybe the chassis?? to a BitFenix Merc Alpha?? tongue.gif

for gaming, any mobo will do, you'll only be limited in terms of hardware expandability

haha looks like you're more bent on AMD? well if you're talking about the new Adobe Premier Pro CC then you're in luck as it supports GPU acceleration for both AMD and Nvidia so you're free to choose really wink.gif

Oh because the ATI cards give me more value for money based on performance rather than Nvidia... i'd have to get GT640 for the price range of 7750 and i feel like wasted unless the CUda cores from N-vidia will really give me noticeable performance in my work ><" SO only ProCC has it? i dun think mine is premier CC..its likle premier 5.5... =(
