I believe my salary going to be stagnant at this level. People keep on telling me that very hard to go higher if maintain as this level.

Job Title : IT Project Manager
Job Desciption : Everything related to project and BAU CRs. Planning, Executing, Resourcing, FireFighting.
Years spent in company : 3 months
Industry : Security
Employment Level : Management (I guess so. But I prefer to be in working level)
Experience before joining : Working since Aug, 2004 (Proj Mgmt experience: since 2009)
Highest paper qualification/ education background : Degree + PMP + ITIL Foundation + Lean Six Sigma Green Belt + P3O Foundation + MBA (Currently doing)
salary : RM13.5k
Location: PJ

I seriously not interested in management level, don't really like become people manager. I don't have kind of leadership spirit within me. smile.gif

But if I were to climb, I need to be Head of Department or Programme Manager which both also need to "see big picture"

I suppose if you prefer normal executive level, you wouldn't be able to earn as much as you are earning right now, no?

Can all the marketing related workers share their salary and number of years in current company and experience?

Well, seriously speaking, I'm not sure as a normal PM can earn this kind of earning or not. I guess the only way is to learn and adapt.

Still in junior level although worked 3 years in this field. What should do to further in this account field? Any experience in account field? Mind to share?

I would say, try to complete your degree the soonest possible. With a degree on hand, it will be a plus point when it comes to negotiation of salary & promotion. Of course that depends on your current performance in the company as well, and if you feel there is still things to learn in this company, why not exploring in other section such as GL, that will help to improve on business knowledge?

Hi,

Don't wait .. go seek it. Ask your Manager/HR if they have training plans or what not. Also please make sure to put it to use when you have obtained the knowledge (not cert!). Personally I am OK to pay myself if the cert/qualification will be a core skillset for the next 3-5 years.

Perhaps job experience is far more important than your ages.
Experience also determine what salary you can get.
