I'm starting to think that some posters are trying to really hard to make themselves look good by converting x dollar/euro back into ringgit. Considering that we are moving towards globalization i'm starting to feel that we need to change the format we are posting up.

Our currency against SG is 2.7:1, which probably you're monthly around RM 12k.

If you stay in JB, and cook yourself you hv save alot of money.

Is that a landed house or condo house? In good location? You can try to rent out you house to ease your burden.

If convert from SGD to become MYR 25k then nothing so special. In my view SGD 10k for a product manager no big deal.

definitely above average if you've only been working for 4 years.
so in this case, the qualifications and certifications helps alot.

just wants to survey..how much average salary for 4 years experience network engineer related position..thx all!

What kinda network engineer? Goyang kaki or firefighting type? tongue.gif

My seniors working more than 5 years are earning 8k RM onwards. More if they are specialized into a certain skillset. Most have CCNP (which is too common nowadays).

Also to update mine as of June 2015:

Job Description : some fancy title but basically it's still Network Support/Engineer
Years spent in company : 3months
Company : MNC
Industry : IT /Networking
Tenure : Permanent
Experience before joining : 3.5 years
Highest paper qualification/ education background : Degree. Related vendor certifications (going for more soon)

Salary: ~RM7k gross + usual benefits

I think I'm doing just OK ... definitely more room for increment but not sure if I'd want to further enhance my current skillset (I'm doing Cisco tech mainly so CCIE is next) ... or just go all rounder and get certifications from other vendors.

rclxms.gif rclxms.gif I must congratulate you for never stop learning and upgrading yourself. People nowadays especially in old generations keep complain why the young generation surpass them, in fact they did not move forward. Some can't even use proper Office software such as Words/Excel. Those who can, they are at top. Those who stuck in middle level, they can only moan on this and that (no time lar, no money lar, got family lar) and yet keeps cursing the young for earning more.
