I would say, try to complete your degree the soonest possible. With a degree on hand, it will be a plus point when it comes to negotiation of salary & promotion. Of course that depends on your current performance in the company as well, and if you feel there is still things to learn in this company, why not exploring in other section such as GL, that will help to improve on business knowledge?

perhaps more details needed before any advise, such as qualified accountant as in registered with any body as accountant is widely misunderstood term these days and 5 working experience in which line? audit? mnc? plc?
