My friend told me about 650 is the tax about near to 10%, is this amount correct? I check from hasil website5-10k salary bracket tax is only 2-3%... Need you guys to enlighten me?

You are such an ordinary designer I have seen, not saying u posting fake info but, most of my graphic designers friends who has more than 4 years experience only get paid around 3-3.5k and they always need to work overtime without any extra allowance nor pay. Pity for them

From observing my graduating class, most fresh grads (not all of course) do not aim for higher paying jobs. Self-selection by fresh graduates happens very often and they end up going for conventional jobs or jobs they were brainwashed into. Point is, not all go for those top jobs and programmes. Have you seen this among your university coursemates?

True that performance in academics does not equate to performance in the workplace. In my opinion, consistency is key and top performers usually have that in common. It would take a lot to lose that drive which is why they remain top performers in the workplace.
To my knowledge, an increment is merit-based, such as a progression to the next level but not necessarily a promotion. An adjustment is not merit-based, and is usually given either to match market inflation or the pay scale of competitors. As such, some can indeed get both. Maybe someone in the HR practice can correct me if I'm wrong!

Sounds like a troll. RM9k basic is already super high, plus commission + perks.... RM300k annual. and you're asking if it's considered low?

so i supposed u will be based in malaysia, the only merit is u gaining a 3 month experience oversea's, then for the present market the salary for fresh grade (degree holder) should be within the range of RM2250 to RM2500 (maybe).... this is for the basic salary. unless u have obtained a degree and have (from april 2013 to date) experience, it will be different story.

here if i get ur situation right u have just graduated....

U guys really r gullible. Joined lyn may 2015. 4 yrs working exp n earning 25k. If its not his own business or family own which u shouldn't bench mark. Its utter crap. Pls use common sense pls.
