Yup sure, better try first before mnp, not saying any bad to any telco but in fact no telco can perfectly cover every inches and fit every 1, so to be safe test first

same , top up again now

Remember only 30 50 and 100 entitled 8% extra, don't top up more or less
And 24 and 25 April no top up available due to system upgrade

It's ok to use, never tried that LTE mifi, but I tried LTE modem @ subang and recorded 40 mbps speed, so if you are in LTE coverage, you can try the LTE mifi which I believe not bad since the comment of it's users is not bad by the way it's not that expensive just give it a shot

are you currently using umobile on your phone or other device? LTE is a big jump from HSPA+, but if your area is not covered, then you'll not be fully utilising the LTE mifi.

i suggest for you to try a prepaid sim on an LTE enabled phone, and check whether the places that you'll be using it has Umobile LTE coverage, and check the average speed.

frankly speaking, LTE coverage wise, Maxis is leading the game. so you might want to try a prepaid maxis on your lte device too before deciding on which carrier to use.


on the question whether is LTE worth it? yes it is. faster than unifi 20mbps.

the max i got with DC-HSPA+ was 20.++

actually mine area wont have LTE coverage .....

Just only have 3G signal , I sign up for u mobile is temp use ( unifi need to wait for another few mth to reach my place ) , the reason why I choice for u mobile because no need tight up with any contract ,
and i need the sim card route modem to share the signal to other device ......


the price for LTE modem is RM317 , 21mbps modem is RM269 .no much different ....

so go for LTE MIFI modem is it best choice ....

Anyone using UMobile UMI prepaid plan? UMI28 has 1GB uncapped speed. What is the capped speed after 1GB? is it 64kbps ?

If normal prepaid plan with free internet, what is the speed? Thanks~

try the UMI18, its capped at 64kbps after 500MB. which is unlimited, no problem for whatsapp, internet mobile sites or even vibercalls...

If I terminate my Broadband 20GB now, do I have to pay full amount bill or pro-rate? Currently I just finished the 1 year contract.

need to pay in full. my suggestion if you still want to terminate earlier than your billing date, use up the quota 20GB and then terminate (this what I do). Or just wait until 1 - 2 days before the billing date and terminate.
