u just want test at usb modem then no point u subscribe umi plan as it comes with call and sms bundle with data... if jsut want to test 1 day then got for daily rm5 will do , can immediately finish up the amount inside the sim also. else u need top up another 10 then only can subscribe the mb15.

Today I buy the prepaid board and for test

Modem setting is WCDMA preferred And also can set to WCDMA only

Both setting can get

HDPA and HSDPA !

So What is the different for both !

The signal very weak on my house center .
Need to but the modem near by windows then can get more strong signal .

Unstable , always switching HDPA and HSDPA .

Pls advise

different between HSPA and HSDPA

HSPA = higher download speed (HSDPA ) + higher upload speed ( HSUPA )
HS D+U PA

HSDPA = higher download speed + slower upload speed of 384kbps WCDMA 3G


for weaker signal wise, you can either buy active USB extension cable to put your usb modem at near window,..

or

buy a 3G/4G router, plug your usb modem in and put them near window

Noted , today get buy maxis broadband sin to test see which faster .

Don't know how the u mobile LTE MiFi modem can get receive stronger signal or nop .



another question is , I plug the modem into my laptop .

Without on any application and page , the data still keep on running , just awhile 250mb data already finish !

Hi, i am a MB128 postpaid user, can i downgrade to MB68 and buy LTE usb modem(RM49) from them?

No need tp downgrade

Just terminate the MB128 and signup a new MB68 line and buy the modem with it.

i just reload at 27 night

yup no idea why but still can reload and top up yesterday and 27, but still very good news that we can enjoy extra 8% for last few days , hehe

i got 5% from CnY Garage, then 8% from um

if u call IDD , plus 10% more from UM

so u pay 28.5 u get 30 +2.4 +3 = 35.4

this prepaid rate got no other telco can compete

damm~ then i jumped the wrong boat d lol

already dono how many % rebate lioa like taht umobile win
