Hi all, I am thinking to subscribe to the UMI 68 package, as there is a promotion now which offers 5 + 5GB.

Just wondering, after the quote is used up, under FUP what is the best speed that we can expect ?

Yeah, I was very disappointed with U Mobile in the past 6 months. When I first started using it over a year ago, the speed was pretty consistent and the connection steady. After U Mobile signed the network sharing agreement with Maxis, my experience was all the way downhill....hence I went to their service center to cancel my line. 2 other people were there to do the same too. The staff don't even ask me why, I complained so many times already. Email their customer support doesn't help too.

Switched to YES 4G, its peak hours usage is expensive compared to U Mobile (98 for 6GB), but I got the 109 one which is 6GB peak and 15GB from 2am-8am. So I just do my downloads at 2am and auto-shutdown. Can get up to 12mb download during peak, so pretty satisfied. Just that I have to be careful in rationing usage.

Still using Umobile and the data line is intermittent. really frustrated especially when i wanna play online games. Is there any way ? or is it resort to the final decision to change back to maxis?

iinm, all svc ctr cut for free. they use a puncher anyway.

i'd suggest to convert to nanosim (RM10 fee for actual nanosim card replacement), then get adapters instead cuz it give you all the options (nano > micro, nano > mini, nano > micro > mini)

you cannot keep 0.00 as credit. it need a certain minimum amount so calls can be made (credit reservation).

keep a few bucks as float, e.g. rm2-rm5.

there is no reason for not receiving the calls or messages even u got 0 credits in your phone, since the passive date to receive call is > active date to call out, once ur phone number remain passive for more than 60 days, ur number will be gone FOREVER cool2.gif
