Was at GNC Sunway Pyramid yesterday and bought 2 small jars of ON Pro Complex for ... RM 125 each (Normal price: RM 224 -20%). Reason: Expiration date is July 2009. They have 5 (?) more big jars of ON Whey for sale at similarly low prices. Sorry, I wiped out all the Pro Complex they had!

I don't remember since I wasn't interested in whey. I drink milk.

Added on May 28, 2009, 3:51 pmBut they're deeply discounted. The discount rate ought to be similar to Pro Complex.

Added on May 28, 2009, 10:26 pmJesus Pro Complex tastes like bitter medicine with a bit of syrup to make it palatable. Gah.

Like in bodybuilding.com forums, they have a section where people post their workout routine, diet and all that to help motivate themselves and also to help others have an idea of what to expect with that sort of diet.

Shall we start the same too? I'd post mine, but considering I'm about the smallest here, I guess the rest are gonna "taroh" me if I start first tongue.gif

So people, shall we?

Edit: Okie my makan routine

Hey guys! I'm new here and I'm trying to lose weight. Okay firstly, I'm 88kg and 180 cm tall, maybe losing weight to about 70kg is perfect for me. I'm still in school and I rarely have time for exercise and gym. I do have a mini gym at home, so normally I'll just carry some weights and do crunches + push ups. I started maintaining my diet since last week after I saw this thread. Anyhow, I want to build muscles + lose weight at the same time. Is this possbile? Should I lose weight first then only build muscles or do both together? I'm slightly confused about my diet now as I go fully on diet with milk and cereals in the morning, sometimes I skipped lunch and for dinner, I blend some fruits to drink. I started just last week, so the results have yet to be seen. So my question is, will I lose my body mass if I lose weight? I've been going to gym for a year but because of my fats deposited everywhere especially the chest and stomach, no muscles can be seen sad.gif. I don't mind not losing weight as long as the fats are gone. Is that possible? Or do losing weight also helps in reducing fats? Replies and suggestions are very much appreciated, thanks smile.gif

In one day: 1.5kg chicken (whole), 500g of potatoes, 1 litre of milk (or more), 3 scoops of whey, 50g of oats, 1 tablespoon of peanut butter.

Same thing everyday.

Is it okay to eat KFC chicken breast (spicey) as one of the source of protein? Sometimes after workout, usually once or twice a week, I do buy KFC snake plate or nuggets, but I worry about the fat contained inside hmm.gif

can tuna contain some mercury. Don't eat too much of it.

Peanut butter for the source of fat. We still need fat in our diet. peanut butter is one of the good fat. New research shows that coconut is also a good source of fat. Even better than olive oil. Coconut oil has higher smoke temperature.

Hey guys, I've tried searching about Chicken Breasts vs other parts but I couldn't find anything concrete. Found mostly related to Weight Loss, that they say Chicken Breasts is better because of low fat content.

So for me, I'm ectomorph. What part of the chicken should I consume that has the highest protein and yet it is cheapest?

Also, regarding milk powder, which has the highest protein in 100g powder? I'm currently drinking Dutch Lady Full Cream Milk powder : has 25g of Protein in 100g of powder.

chicken breast contain the most protein. because it contain less fat.

Regarding the the milk powder, i'm not sure which has the highest protein per 100g. Maybe you can compare with different brand. Or you can have a low fat dutch lady powder and eat with peanuts. Peanuts also contain some protein. Although peanuts protein is not complete, you complete it with the milk, or other source that can complete the peanuts

Many grain products contain molds. The molds themselves are not toxic, it is their byproducts. Among the worst mold byproducts are mycotoxins, one of which is aflatoxin, and are quite common in small amounts. Some mycotoxins are among the most poisonous substances known, and even the common ones have many harmful effects. Much of it is on the liver, but other organs are affected. However, they are mainly detrimental to the immune system. Large amounts of immune cells are destroyed in their fight to combat them. Much of the damage seems to be to the lymphocytes, which include NK (natural killer) and T-cells, which combat serious illness. They are also a trigger for mundane illnesses like colds.

Peanuts can be especially bad. Brown specks in peanut butter are sometimes moldy nuts which contain aflatoxins (they can also be the skins of the peanuts, if that is included in the processing). Peanut oil is made from peanuts that fail the quality test for peanuts to be sold whole, so should be avoided. Non-health varieties of peanut butter often contain hydrogenated oils (and sugar). Peanut butter is okay if ascorbic acid is mixed into natural peanut butter to detoxify the potential mold. (Some blood types should avoid regular use of peanut butter, especially Os, because of their lectin content)

So take your vit C when eating peanut butter. I have stopped buying peanut butter. Peanut butter can be additive. Use it sparingly not as your main source of fat.

Coconut oil can be purchased at organic shops. I take 2 tablespoon of coconut oil after breakfast. Coconut oil has much more benefits than peanut butter.
