You are losing weight or what? It is advisable not to have fruits for dinner. Best time to have fruits is in the morning. Too much of fruits will make you fat. Even like brocoli and cauliflower, I read some articles, some people label them as carbs. WTF?! Immediately I stopped eating them, going for other vege.

Hi, want to ask. If I'm working at nite until morning. Then sleep from morning to the afternoon around 3 - 4pm. Then is this means that my breakfast is in the afternoon after I wake up?

Thank goodness I decided to check out this sticky. Wrong info mate. All fruits are carbs. And broccoli + cauliflowers are good sources of carbs. yes, agree with darklight. Even if you eat 1 plate of broccoli, you won't get fat. cause brocolli is good source of carb and the carb content is very little. Even if you eat 1kg of cooked broccoli, the carb content is 22grams
Fruit you should limit. 50gram of fructose per day is the limit. else will spill to fat storage. This post has been edited by kurtkob78: Apr 24 2009, 09:07 PM |

It is a sub-category of carbs. Never pay attention in science class last time meh? =P There are no easy ways to determine the carb content in food. There's too damn many types of carbs, and it's too expensive for food manufacturers to find out the extremely specific details. So what is normally done is to find out the content of protein, fat, water, minerals, etc. Then the residual portion is automatically classified as carbs (even vitamin C is carb, actually. But it's too important to be classified under the carb category). Another issue is the calorie printed on labels and nutritional facts. If the food contains a lot of fibre, it may or may not be 100% accurate (depending on the source and what types of analysis being done). Normally, the whole food is burned to ashes... to find out the TOTAL amount of calorie/energy it contains (including the energy released from fibres). You stomach doesn't digest+absorp every single compound you eat, especially fibres. And you don't use every compound as energy (eg: vitamins). |

Erm .. I'm 67kg, 164 cm and I hope can reach 60kg in 3 months ...
Normally I'll jog for 45 mins every evening ( in fact like about 20 min of jogging and 25 min of walking, my stamina sux)... and 15 mins jalan-jalan after dinner .... and night normally 25-30 sit ups ... Dunno why my stomach get very painful after 30 times ... and here's my daily intake : Breakfast 7.00 a.m. : Nescafe(3 in 1 that kind) + 2-3 slice of bread(gardenia) Lunch 12.30 p.m. :fish + veges + egg(if got boil one) Alternative Lunch(if I'm not so hungry) 12.30 p.m. : 1 fruit 2 sth p.m. : 1 more fruit ( fruit mostly apple, or pear) before jogging 4sth p.m. or 5 p.m. : milo kosong Dinner 7 sth p.m. : chicken + veges (mostly cabbage or xiu bak choi (small white vege?) ) p.s. : have fish for my lunch because I'm working at a Malay kampung nearby to the sea now, so the fish is fresh and cheap. Normally is asam fish. Du wan take chicken coz normally only got fried chicken and curry. p.s.2 : chicken + vege for dinner normally is goreng sayur + chicken slice .. Feel like to change it to boil one but the vege really taste terrible afterward. And.. Questions : 1. My friend suggested me to have "Hydroxycut hardcore" before I go jogging so I can jog longer, any1 tried that before? Does it works? 2. Would like to change gardenia in breakfast to oat, but normally where to get it ? Those Giant or Carrefour got sell? Is it mix like milk and eat like cereal ? Anyone help me please? Really appreciate =) This post has been edited by [sin]: Apr 27 2009, 01:18 PM |

For those take low fat HL milk, why not taking soya milk instead? U should buy a machine to have homemade soya milk or buy boxes of instant soya milk powder if u dont want to take those in market which is contains sweetness.
I take x brand milk-shake as meal supplimentary. I AM NOT SELLING HERE but Im sharing my happiness. The milk shake is a all-that-i-need for a day and i take it together with soya milk powder. I restrain my desire on food and i loose weight easily. I started from taking it as snack/supper, later on as one of a meal for the day, but now it is almost the only 3 meals of my days. I have no weight issues anymore I do regular gym, yoga, swimming constantly. I feel great! This post has been edited by secretsquirrel: Apr 27 2009, 12:58 PM |

Too much hassle to prepare it. HL milk just take out and drink. There's been rumours about sperm damage too.

I don't see Okinawa men having that and that includes the old ones. They eat a hell lot of soya protein which more researchers are checking to see if it helps them to live long. |
