Any why wont it help me potato? Last time i lost 10kg by going to sauna in about2-3 months

run faster, longer. every week, get out of your comfort zone just by a little bit.

a change of diet will help tremendously. ditch nasi lemak for something else. if you can prepare your own food, make yourself chicken chops from chicken breasts. feast!

go low with the rice, stuff yourself with vege and meat. don't go for anything drenched in oil. we all know how mamak food is like.

same thing with dinner, cut out most of the rice, take a lot of vege and meat. fish isn't all that good compared to chicken since most fish are farmed nowadays and they are more expensive per gram of protein than chicken. a diet of fish was recommended because of its omega3 content, not so with farmed fish as it is fed with whatever it is farmed fish are being fed with.

if you have the habit of stuffing yourself every meal until you feel full, do it with vegetables. skip your supper if you can, else eat a few hard boiled eggs or chicken chops/veggies/salad/you know it.

why? hmmm, lets see, why should it? you dont lose fat by sitting in a sauna sweating, you lose water.

this is why you see pro-fighters in sauna's running on treadmills to lose weight fast just before a fight so they come in under the weight limit when weighing in. after weighing in they drink up and their weight pops right back up.

if you lost 10kg's of fat it wasnt the sauna.


@cockerish: appart from what fleshwound has already said, skip the supper.

@asciii: add veggies to your diet and exercise.

hey...can anyone check on my diet plan??

breakfast:chicken rice(i think considered brunch bcoz always have it at ard 11am)

lunch:some biscuit or 1 can of tuna

dinner:mom's cookings but i take off the rice n substitute with cucumber n carrot(raw)

i read from newspaper tat drinking coffee(without sugar or milk)will help on diet,so can i drink it b4 i go to gym??or after dinner??too much isnt good for the heart,i heard...

exercise:
3-4 days a week,30mins of treadmill n 30 mins of crosstrainer(does this machine really work??it is less tiring compare to treadmill but the calories burned shows on the screen is much more than treadmill)
*i do those in the morning b4 i had any food bcoz i saw a post saying exercising in the morning will burn the fats 1st instead of carb...izzit true??but the timing will change after my college starts... sad.gif sad.gif

+ 1 day of yoga(kinda lazy to go bcoz my favourite instructor has gone...nowadays just go for the sake of paying..)but sometimes will do some simple posture in the bathroom...
+ lifting dumbell b4 i take my bath(only 12 lbs but isnt light for me)

n does those dancing games for ps2 work??

i did rope jumping for few days but don feel comfortable doing it as neighbours might c.. blush.gif blush.gif wanna add in swimming but dont have the guts to go(may be will go after my tummy gets smaller.. tongue.gif )



oh ya..n 1 more thing i would like to ask,i wanna change the cucumber n carrot to broccolli(bcoz i love it n everyday eat cucumber is kinda sien) but as i was told tat if we cook vege with high temp the nutritions will be gone,so is there anyway to make the vege cooked n still maintain with its nutritions??i cant eat raw broccolli....

my weight is 85kgs doh.gif sad.gif cry.gif n hieght: 170cm....

what time are you exercising in the morning? you should exercise as close as possible to the time you wake up then eat your breakfast 30minutes to an hour after exercising. eat a full lunch and dinner.

dont drink coffee if you're drinking it to lose weight >.>''...

what are you doing with your weights? just bicep curls?

i wake up 6am n reach the gym around 630...but feel like changing to go gym at 9( tongue.gif so wake up later) bcoz quite crowded early in the morning...erm..i tot can only have meal an hour after exercising??i heard our body will absorb faster..>.<"

abt the weights i did bicep curls n some variations..i dunno what u call those..like open up the chest.. flex.gif

for the weights, check bodybuilding.com and see the many things you can do with dumbells. do some pushups, pullups, crunches aswell.

eat your rice.

cold water, warm water... not that crap again. cold water isnt going to damage your intestines, unless he's got medical evidence showing otherwise... rolleyes.gif

well you can do whatever it is you want to, i personally dont believe in low carb diets and all the other minus this minus that diets. theres nothing wrong with carbohydrates and getting enough carbs per day is important.

hmm..so if i maintain my normal meal,will weight losing be achieved by doing those exercises??or should i add in something else??i hope to lose like at least 10kgs in 4-5 months...

if you eat a balanced healthy diet and workout with a good workout routine you'll lose the fat and imo, if you want to burn fat fast, weights do it faster than aerobic workouts.

muscles burn fat, the more muscle you have the easier it is to burn fat. or something along those lines.

What is the bad thing that could happen if we dont eat breakfast ? I always skip breakfast because i woke up late hehe. I'll only wake up early if i have class in the morning. And i wont eat before going to class. I'll eat only after the class ended

Breakfast is 1 of the most important meal for workout, then take lunch.. to boost your energy for the evening at the gym.
but guys, i have experience this.... drinking black coffee 1 or 30minutes b4 workout gives more energy. it makes our heartbeat run faster thus circle more blood and O2 to our muscle. coffee also helps in dieting. with no sugar at all.
i don't know u guys but it works for me.

coffee seems to provide you with energy because of its caffiene content, it stimulates the CNS giving you what seems to be "more" energy and better coordination if taken in the right amounts. iirc its also a metabolic stimulant.

as with all drugs there are draw backs to drinking coffee or consuming any product with caffiene over a long period of time. if you like drinking coffee for the taste and such then drink it but if you're drinking it as some sort of diet drink dont.

True, drinking coffee do make your heart palpitations go higher, I've experienced it before. An even worse case happened to a friend of mine, she goes hyperactive ('crazy') if she drinks coffee. shakehead.gif
