I'm trying the barbell in gym. i was surprised at how heavy the barbell is even when empty. How heavy is the empty bar like below?

20kg the last I measured it.
You might want to start with the shorter one that's around 10.

yep, average bar like that is more or 45 pounds or 20kg

Any lighter and it will snap when lifting > 300 pounds

Got 20kg so heavy? I dont do lifting or stuff but once somebody left the empty bar on the floor so I put it back on the rack. I thought it was about 10kgs or something

stand on scale without bar
stand on scale with bar

do u even lift bro? jogging is cardio, that is leg day warm up, which is today. lifting warm up is push-up, then start with empty bars 1 set, and then let them roll, 5kg then 10kg plates per side. max i go is 20kg per side.
