try this website Gothere.sg

enter your working place and also your potential areas and see the available transportation options...
with that, you can decide where is more convenient smile.gif

Once again be careful of what you're joking about in a public forum.

One might argue that Anton Casey was also joking when he posted those "famous quotes" and see where that leads him to.

This is the internet. People do make jokes and the reaction could vary in the community.

In the end of the day it is up to you to react. I dont get pissed on the internet because I know it is just a waste of time to get angry about. If you do get pissed, go learn some zen.

I dont seek for drama and conflict as I already got enough of that in the real world. The internet is a freedom that people choose to live their life in a happier way.

People do take our jobs as well in my country. I dont get mad about it. It is part of globalization effect. Just learn to survive. No point b*tching about it that people take your job, instead do something about it to get the job.

South Park broadcast it on the network, they dont get into trouble for doing that. So what is it difference of me posting a meme here?

If they are so willing to work off shore, u would have packed your bags n go back home country for long time already. We must feel happy as the locals not taking up the jobs and so the foreigners ll have a chance.

Not really sure what you are trying to establish with that statement.

You might want to temper that belief with the fact that there have been numerous recent incidents where the citizenry's backlash in response to 'provocative' Internet postings were disproportionate to put it mildly.

peak hours per trip, i would say 1 - 2 hours for bike and 2 - 3 hours for car given the 'go-slow' at Immigration now.

Just moved to Singapore for work last week.

Anyone know any good gyms near yishun/khatib/yio chu kang/ang mo kio area? Checked out fitness first AMK hub but it was super duper crowded. Checked out safra gym yishun but it's for PRs/citizens only unless I pay $15 per entry.

Try to avoid sensitive remarks on race, religion and politics, anything that can make the locals angry. People here can get charged and put into jail by making comment on internet. Be more careful when you are somebody, high pay, high rank etc. Don't let them start and meat search you, ancestors also dig out then post on stomp.

Those are residential areas, you go after work or weekends sure crowded. Try the gym around the city during weekends. My gym class quite empty, but its all ladies class though.

You can try California fitness, you only need one month deposit and it is a monthly commitment unlike fitness first(money first).

Every time i go inside casino in MBS, they took my ID card and scan it. Anyone know if this is only for the casino personal data or will it be used by Sg gov, i am worried it might affect my PR application.

I never really get it why the Gov allow casino to have a huge open floor in a closed building to smoke as you pleased while every other building in Sg including pubs are strictly smoking prohibited. Money? Btw, it is a scary thought that casino is just a MRT away but luckily so far i have been lucky there.

same goes to the traffic at 2nd link.

i plan to buy car in singapore and park near woodlands custom, then take bus over the causeway, reason being i don't want to be stuck driving in the jam at causeway. Any recommendation where I can park my car near the woodlands checkpoint?
