Department will need to seek approval from management for head count. Once approved, HR will start hiring process. Don't understand why do you think HR doesn't have any updated information.

Hiring advertisements by HR > contact/send resume to HR > HR will go through CVs > pass CVs of potential candidates to hiring manager....
*
fine if it is for a manager, senior analyst with 3-5 years exp, head of dept etc... because HR will do filtering of qualifications and experience, background, the right pay range

but in niche industry, fresh grad usually doesn't get passed around to HR... say 25 to 30 companies whole industry, and less than 5 want to hire a fresh grad, and one uni alone can produce 50 to 100 fresh grads per year - and if they don't get a fresh grad, they won't really feel they missed anything. in this scenario, my question is valid. how many ads are you going to find... maybe 1, at most 2, at any given time of the year.

if you are living in SG you not allowed to keep your Malaysia car in SG. If you are living in JB and driving in every day then yes it is $20 per weekday.

I don't know accounting payscales, but 1600 in general seems low for degree holder. Plus you're looking at a pretty sad life in SG.

I think the change policy some time ago.

Do you have Maybank account in Malaysia ? Last I check in Maybank SG a couple of months ago, if you have have Maybank MY account, give them the account number and you can open a SG Maybank (no need permit card, etc) but Maybank ATM a bit leceh to find (the 5 ATM group).

1.6k is more like fresh diploma holders pay. And I'm talking about 2-3 years ago. Now i'm quite sure it has risen.

If you look at your account details your IC number should be your Malaysian IC number instead of your FIN number "M followed by MY IC number"

My BTT test in April. Malaysian have to pass this test in order for conversion of driving license. Fee should be below $10 including everything.

You will need a driving license extract from JPJ and also SGD50 fee for the conversion. SGD10 is for the BTT only.
