Anyone here know any public bank with cash deposit machine nearby JB CIQ/ city square mall? (within walking distance).
And what to do, eat, buy, visit when in JB (within walking distance near CIQ/ city square mall) ~ no car , so need to rely on JB public transport or walk. Thanks. |

QUOTE(lepakboy @ Feb 11 2014, 12:09 AM) Lol ..trust me, its due to massive pressure from SG companies to lower my asking pay. But yes it would be nice to hear other people's experiences. Those are kedekut companies Most companies ask for my pay in SGD. needless to say that amount is small nowadays. I feel they use that as a bargaining chip to their favor. Anyway if you have a specialize skill-set / experience then you can negotiate for better remuneration. If your skill-set are similar to the 99% of the workforce then of course those companies will tekan you |

QUOTE(xtylish @ Mar 7 2014, 01:50 PM) since ppl were sharing about their rent. $350 for a room, is the room the store room (which can fit only a single bed) or the bomb shelter ? Any you do your laundry outside ? That cost money too and time.my previous rent was $530, small single room at the back and everything is included @ toapayoh. my rent now is $350, the same small single room at the back with no furniture. nothing. just water heater. no washing machine as well. but i save a lot and my office is just across the street. so i saved transport too. still at toa payoh. |

QUOTE(Perfect-Stranger @ Apr 9 2014, 11:55 AM) Dude, I'm just stating out some of the real examples from my friends. Malaysian. I suspect this is due to the close proximity between Singapore and Malaysia and also historical ties between the 2 nation. Do note it is the Malaysian side that WILL cancel your Malaysian license (and restate it back if you cancel the Singaporean license if not mistaken)Since the question posted was about steps to convert his Malaysia driving license and whether to surrender his Malaysia driving license back to them. My advice is try to keep his Malaysia driving license. Not sure about Indon thou. For your Indonesia though experiment, he/she will have 2 license as there is no need for Indonesian side to cancel their own license ? |

QUOTE(Fiona Chin @ Apr 12 2014, 08:47 PM) Don't think you can if you are foreigner without work permit or EP. Offshore account yes but 200k SGD min for HSBC. Other banks I not sure. Last I check, Maybank Singapore allow you to open account without EP or work permit provided you have a Malaysian Maybank account (but they will ask you why you want to open account, etc..). Just make a valid excuse |
