Hi, since OCBC have withdraw the 5% rebate, then the makan makan at The Curve for 20% rebate still valid? Thinking to go there after Ikeaaaa

Let's see whether they are going to inform all customers through monthly statement or SMS. They cant expect everyone to check the website or call their CS. When it comes to loan offer, etc..keep sending sms non-stop!

That 20% The Curve dining promo already ended in August 2013 !!!!

just called and confirm no GST waiver even spent more than RM10k. My card due in Feb 2014. Time to transfer my insurance auto debit but MBB2CARD only 1x point =( my insurance provider dun accept AMEX.

I just applied past few months and many things changed.
1. 5% to 1%
2. 10k GST waiver gone.
3. KLIA lounge access if charge 3k gone.

These are the "features" mentioned in the e-mail they sent to me previously.

Worst still, they don't bother to inform you about the changes.

Yup, that's correct. Even though you have utilised RM10K this year and "supposed" to receive GST waiver in 1 Dec 2013, you will still be charged. Those who have used RM10k and hoping that you are still entitled to the waiver come your card anniversary date will be in for a shock. I was slightly luckier cos I just got my GST rebate before 29 Nov 2013, hubby is not

my brother is a doctor,
applied 3rd time only success.
and get his card on OCT.
now NOV they change 5%->1%..
He is vomitting blood.

RM50 bonus to offset GST gone
But free Annual Fee

So, u must make sure at least RM5,000 swiped to at least breakeven...

Means at least RM416.6666666666667 a month

luckily your brother is a doctor...
so he still can cure himself (after vomiting blood)...

we just have to get used to it.. else... just potong the card (before the next GST charge)

So any good deal/promotion from Maybank on 29 Nov ?

But I not comfortable holding only 1 card...u know, sometimes system glitch, at least u hv a backup card...

true.. im cancelling my ocbc.. and going for cimb cash back platinum card.. simply just to get that RM250 rebate

Too bad, I intend to keep it for another year since I used more than 10K but guess I have to cancel it before my GST kick in since OCBC don't want me to do so.
