Too bad, I intend to keep it for another year since I used more than 10K but guess I have to cancel it before my GST kick in since OCBC don't want me to do so.
*
True. I have met the 10k requirement and now they are abolishing it too. I will make sure to include this in my termination letter.

I just applied past few months and many things changed.
1. 5% to 1%
2. 10k GST waiver gone.
3. KLIA lounge access if charge 3k gone.

These are the "features" mentioned in the e-mail they sent to me previously.

Worst still, they don't bother to inform you about the changes.  vmad.gif

ya, never inform via SMS or email about the changes, just publish the changes in their website silently

Called up to ask about free travel insurance if you use the card to purchase air tickets. They told me 29th Nov onwards, the privilege is no longer valid. Dang. OCBC...remove all la =[

It may appear in the next statement. OCBC is pretty fast in term of GST rebate.

they moved this 'feature' upwards for the new World Master Card, as you can prolly see from the OCBC site, every single card they have is immensely simplified.

most have 2 or 3 real 'benefits' listed only, a max of only 1.2% cash back on all their Malaysian line up.

ING and GE have their own co-branded cards with banks (ING with HLB, GE with OCBC) which also cashback, maybe good to use with large about of insurance premiums. Go check it out.

sure. now i want to cancel ocbc card and standchart credit card. i onli left wise card for my petrol, grocery, and phone bill(rm100 rebate every month). the other card is maybank 2 card and it is my main card, which i use at departmental store and place accept amex.

now i onli worry that i pay rm8000++ insurance and some spending which cannot accept amex(around 3000), i got empty rebate. so that, watami card(3 percent for rm11000++ =rm330++ o) is my choice now. i just apply citibank and be rejected. i worry that this one oso same story.
