QUOTE(zaFrOoNaLdO @ Nov 7 2013, 11:42 PM) but i thought even if u do it during weekend, it might not get processed during the weekend... they might process it during weekday and ur extra 5% during weekend cashback is gone? QUOTE(victorywp @ Nov 7 2013, 11:48 PM) pay the bills using mbb amex via maybank2u should be instant. QUOTE(David83 @ Nov 8 2013, 07:02 AM) Yes. It's instant. Can confirm that. Confirm here too. I always do it on Saturday, and transaction date is on the same day, hence 5% and 5xTP. No surprises.

QUOTE(red_scorpion @ Nov 8 2013, 12:04 AM) bad news for all the OCBC Tit user...but just keep it as backup card for 1% unlimited cash back...same with HL essential card. I was considering HL Essential on its 1% unlimited CB to cover some unexpected big bill (e.g. car repair, medical bill, furniture, laptop, etc) that can't use M2 Amex. But the rewards after AF+GST is not very encouraging. Maybe for now I will downgrade OCBC TMC for this purpose. Sad... But ocbc just didn't confirm if it is cap at RM50 per month or unlimited. Else you'll keep receiving msg saying that your auto debit has failed. Happened to me when I switch from gold to platinum for Maybank without cancelling the auto-debit under the Gold.

QUOTE(David83 @ Nov 7 2013, 11:27 PM) Sorry brother. People is getting upset and at the same, anxious about alternatives out there. Yeah, for me need to look for alternative to pay for Municipal charges, IndahWater, SAJ, Cukai Tanah, Groceries, Chinese Medicine/Saundry Shop which qualifies for 5% rebate using OCBC Ti.

They have not updated the main website yet. So still unsure whether they are retaining the annual bonus feature.

OCBC Malaysia > Cards > Important Info http://www.ocbc.com.my/personal-banking/Ca...cards_more_infofirst link is the pdf about the revise of feature btw, they said all features and benefits will be REMOVED, and replace by following feature and the feature mention only that 1%. for the annual usage bonus which suppose is a feature so thats means no more annual usage bonus to offset GST? Agree, the way it is explained in the PDF Doc is very confusing. When u say something is going to be discountinued and replaced with another feature, it should be clearely stated what is going to be discontinued and what are the new features. http://www.ocbc.com.my/personal-banking/Ca...cards_more_infoLooking at this, does this mean that the "Annual Fee Free for Life" is going to be replaced or "the 1% Rebate on Retail Spending" or both. And replaced with what? Anyone else have a different interpretation.

That's a good way of looking at it. the 5% was very good for me, paid all my utility bills and restaurant. With no capping, still makes sense to me. For Hypermarket, I can still use my UOB Card

for those who plan to milk this card until the last minute, u can pay your bill in advance to take advantage of the 5% although u havent got your bill yet, just to max the RM50 for one last time...

What is the next best alternative cash back card beside M2 Amex? No point to keep this card anymore.

QUOTE(iamoracle @ Nov 8 2013, 01:50 PM) What is the next best alternative cash back card beside M2 Amex? No point to keep this card anymore. For dining I have replace this card with MACH card long time ago with 5% cashback n 10% cashback for movies. Some say WISE card is not a bad choice but its not suitable for me because I cannot fulfill its requirements.
