if you compare the exchange rate with local money changers, the conversion rate is better.

Really?

Means if you finish your money oversea, so is much worth to use credit card instead of go to the local money changer?

If on weekends, I will go with AMEX. Other days, maybe still amex or maybank master as hv no experience with other cards in the list. Check out some sample forex rate here:

When using the pay later option for agoda booking, the credit card is charged with $1. It now appears as authorized amount in my CC account. Will this amount actually be charged, or it will be charged and then refunded?

Ultimately it would not be charged to the account.

Guys, i've won a cashback from BSN Credit Card. I won RM25k and the money credited into my credit card. My card limit is RM5k. Means that my card now is -RM30k.

1) Can i withdraw the money through Cash Advance? Is there any daily interest apply?
2) How can i transfer the money into any debit account or ASB/Tabung Haji or fixed deposit or public mutual?
3) What should i do? Buying a gold and sell it later when the price hike? Or can i pay the downpayment for a house?

I'm thinking of buying a house..help me sifu..sad.gif(

1) it still will have the usual cash advance daily interest apply..
2) dont even think of it
3) just spend using your credit card like normal..

just consider it as a temporary credit limit increase of 25k until you use it up without needing to pay..
after u used up the 25k, ur cl will be back to 5k

and you got a very wrong perception, your card now is not -rm30k, i am not totally sure how it works, but i would consider it as 5k CL with advance payment of RM25k, i am not really sure you can spend more than 5k at 1 go..

It should be -25k in your credit card account but you can use up to 30k of credit limit.

If buying a house, you can use credit card to pay for 10% deposit right, eg: RM300k house, RM30k for 10% deposit is need

Yeah I'm wrong at the -30k section. So just use my card as usual la. Erm..if based on the CL, then I can spend until it reached 25k without limit coz it already have -25k inside right?

Your 1st try will be MBB 2 Cards. As you use this card, you will explore other cards which offer better rewards based on your spending pattern. Generally, you will find MBB 2 cards a good start.
